Big deal. There's a lot of things maybe I don't like seeing everywhere. But I don't whine about it all the time...

I don't either. Some Twilight haters do, but I wouldn't call it WHINING. This is, after all, a thread for people who DON'T like Twilight; of course we will voice our opinions on here, because, as said before.. its for people who don't like it. There are also threads for people who DO like it, and they can chatter all they want about how wonderful it is.
I don't approve of the Twilight "haters" invading the Twilight lovers' threads and yelling at them for liking Twilight. Its a book. However, simply discussing matters of disliking Twilight, ON TWILIGHT-HATING THREADS, is perfectly okay, as long as it doesn't get out of hand. I just don't consider it whining. Especially on a thread like this.

Ok, I do not love twilight but I also do not hate it. When the books first came out (mostly) everyone was crazy about it, now it's like if you like it your uncool, just follow the trend. y'know?

I think Stephanie Meyers version of Vampire is very original and I like that, to most of you her version of a vampire is probably the reason for hating it.

Well, yes.

But also- her characters are the very definition of Mary Sue, which has been mentioned on this thread several times. While some of her ideas may be original, her characters are anything but.

She also tends to contradict herself.
