I like LORD OF THE RINGS, but i think that the book is better than the movie. In the book you could imagine everything differently, and have already finished the film characters. However, this does not change the fact that the book and movie and show great adventure procession ring!

I like the movies better than the books. I read the first one and all they did was walk and walk and walk. And I hated the whole Tom Bombardy thing. But I might try the books again. And they also kept singing in the book,and I would always skip those parts.

Yeah, LOTR rocks. Tom Bombadil is really weird, but with the grave situation about to happen in the part where he comes in, I think Tom was needed to lighten things up lol. I can't wait for the Hobbit!! For those of you who herd that Elijah Wood will be in The Hobbit, it will show Frodo reading There And Back Again; A Hobbit's Tale by Bilbo Baggins in the Red Book. So he will not be a character, but more of a background guy. And Evangeline Lily will be playing and elf named Tauriel.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A flame from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king
In the Garden of Paradise,
beneath the Tree of Knowledge,
bloomed a rose bush.
Here, in the first rose,
a bird was born.
His flight was like the flashing of light,
his plumage was beauteous,
and his song ravishing.

I love the Silmarillion!! It's like the Bible for Middle Earth, almost exactly translated! Legolas is an interesting charracter, more interesting in the movies because he's so mystirious, and that kinda makes you need to know more about him. In the books he's just a playful Elf that's a large part of the Fellowship.
Has anyone seen a pic of Thorin from the new Hobbit movie? I suggest The Hobbit page on Facebook, they've got awesome photos.

Yup, I've seen those pictures. They also made a few videos about how filming is going and stuff, also on the facebook page.
