a nightmare on elm street - the original, not the remake. the remake is good but it doesn't have the same charm as the original and its sequels, although the sequels after dream warriors aren't as good either.... and i outright reject part 2. ugh.

I agree with you , except for the sequence when freddy is running and his arms extend out ridiculously! Lol

that bit actually creeped me out a little the first time i saw it. nightmare on elm street was one of the first "real" horror movies i saw and i was still kind of a weenie so it was unsettling. now though, yeah, it's pretty silly!

definitely scream.
I haven't seen 3 or 4 but out of the two I've watched, im completely hooked.
I automatically fell in love with Dewey the first moment he even came on screen, he's a really amazing and relatable character. I did sort of come late to the party though, considering that I only watched the first one a couple weeks ago and it came out in 1996-
I don't regret watching it though, im definitely looking forward to seeing the rest of them.
Scream has sort of become my new obsession at this point, and I don't think its going anywhere xd
