Yeah, she had her reasons. She wasn't trying to be mean. She just came across overbearing, and not letting Breezepelt be his own cat.

Also, I think Erin was being mean to Hollyleaf. She is devoted so much to the warrior code, and then finds out her very existence breaks it. Then, BOTH of her littermates have a special destiny, but Erin's like "NOPE! Sorry, Hollyleaf. No prophecy for you!" Then she commits MURDER, and then ABANDONS her clan... and then comes back only to DIE by OP Hawkfrost in the final battle in order to save Ivypool.
*Spoilers
I am sorry, I am not on very often, because I have no internet at home, so I can only get on during the weekdays (at school), not weekends. And sometimes I can't even get on at school, so... I've decided that if you want to kick me it's OK I understand. If you are willing to be nice and bear with me, though, that'd be awesome.

She needs to be charged with animal abuse.

considering that she makes the cats shrug even though they can't, and therefore doing that most be extremely painful, she probably does.

Ohohoho, and the worst part? The only reason she wasn't a part of the prophecy was because Erin Hunter couldn't think of a power for her.

Imagine how wonderful it would have been if she wasn't a part of the prophecy, but was still the central hero...sighs...

And this is how we know Erin Hunter is lazy with writing. :P

-slowly marks-
We've needed this for a looong time ouo

I mean, like most series, it starts off well, but it goes downhill, with each newer series having an op charrie like the last.

Guardians of Ga'hoole was great. Until Coryn. Ugh.

Welcome to the partytrain!

I never got to Coryn, actually, but I'll take your word for it. I've always held the belief that a series should only be extended if there were concepts in the original world that weren't explored. For example, Firefly had a lot of really interesting concepts but didn't get to be covered because it was cancelled, but Warriors ran out of concepts pretty early on.

//random change of subject

So after being reminded of Brokenstar and his whole deal, I was reminded of a theory I'd had when I first read the books and I was wondering if anyone else saw the parallels. I thought Brokenstar seemed to be based off of Hitler/WWII.

A) He's this crazy tyrant who wants to be in control of the entire forest (Europe/the world) and is very persuasive
B) His reasoning for invading other clans' territories was that his clan was thriving and needed more land to support them than the weaker clans (much like Hitler's demand for more land to support the German people)
C) Windclan's territory is completely taken in a quick, fierce battle before Thunder/River can even try to help (Blitzkrieg in Poland)
D) Shadowclan threatens war, and Riverclan gives up without a fight/is willing to at least share hunting rights (the annexation of Sudetenland/Austria/France)
E) Thunderclan (representing Britain of course) stand alone against Shadowclan (Germany) and stage a defense which defeats Brokenstar temporarily (Battle of Britain), though he's still a problem
F) Brokenstar dies not in battle, leading his clan, but in the shadows

I don't know if I'm making any sense at all, but the final posts just reminded me of this

feel free to completely ignore this if I'm being crazy XD
