I love LOTR. I first read it when I was six and it took me forever and was a tad confusing at the time. I really love the movies and books but I can't find the full version of the movies which really bugs me. I also have the old Warner Bros or what ever it is animated version. Though I do consider myself very lucky because I know in person both the head of sound and a member of the special effects at Weta workshop who did LOTR with Peter Jackson. Both of them are very nice people and tell me all sorts of stuff like Tree Beard's voice is a remixed cows moo. My teacher also acted an elf and my cousin was close friends with that little girl whose name escapes me at the moment. The one whose mother puts her and her brother on that horse. One of the few advantages of living in this tiny country that made LOTR is that you don't have to go far to find the scenery and people involved with it lol.

I love LOTR, and I've pretty much grown up with it (who hasn't really?) but even more so since I live a few hours from where the movies were filmed. (There's a casting call for extras in the Hobbit, but I'm too tall to be a hobbit extra and too short to be an elf extra XD)
