Anyway, I agree with your final thoughts, Arcaii. I do mention to mention though my opinion on the characters [as of this book]

Stupidpaw [later stupidprotagonist]: Okay

Coxcombstar: Stupid

Spottedcreep: Didn't really do anything, basically only existed to milk a little more drama, and is also creepy

Uselessdeputy: Stupid and basically only existed as a little bit of extra plot fuel to keep the drama and plot going.

Obviousvillain: One of the most obvious villains ever.

Boringnamepaw: Boring

Futerelovepaw* and Meanpaw: Bullies. That's pretty much all that their was to these two's characters in this book tbh.

Abusedpaw: Poor Abusedpaw. If the plot didn't require fuel to keep going, he probably would have been given and better mentor and wouldn't be abused anymore.

Incompetentstar: uggggghhhhhh

On another note, Crowfeather has rotten luck in love. First Feathertail, who dies. Then Leafpool, who is a medicine cat and has his forbidden kits, and leaves him for her clan (which was the right choice, but still not nice to Crowfeather). Both of them are from other clans. Then, to appear loyal to windclan, he takes Nightcloud (Who is an overbearing, controlling, evil witch for a minor character) as his mate. He has a son who hates the world and everyone in it.

Has anyone seen Crowfeather's love life? Or something along those lines. It's just commentary of Russell Brand shouting "BAM PREGNANT" while it shows trollface Crow with all his lovers. You need to see it. Seriously.

Crowfeather was nothing more than a plot device, which is unfortunate. He was specifically there just to create angst and the next main characters.

Actually, in my opinion, Crowfeather is the terrible parental figure here. Nightcloud was only so praising for her son because Crowfeather was like he didn't even like Breezepelt. I kind of feel bad for Nightcloud and Breezepelt.
