When I was like in elementary I used to watch samurai jack and Naruto with my cousin and uncles.

Uhh- fantasy?? and comedy. Nothing overly violent

Both, just depends on the voice actors

Hmm-any studio Ghibli movie tbh.

I was into wolf rp'ing on another site in another language, and I saw people talking about Wolfs Rain and Ginga Densestsu Weed, so I decided to give them a shot. I later got more into it when I watched Kekkaishi.

Since I was a teen/pre-teen

Princess Principal, Sword of the Stranger, New Game, Kase-san, Izetta the Last Witch.

Yes!

Fantasy, action, girls love, or anything of those combinations. But I tend to enjoy a few romance animes or slice-of-life sometimes.

I watch subbed unless I know the dub is ok, sometimes I work while watching and since I'm still learning Japanese it's a bit hard to follow along if I'm not paying attention.

> What are some good recommendations for those just starting out?
Kekkaishi is what got me into it, and I think it's one I would recommend to anyone. Otherwise Princess Principal, Yozakura Quartet Hana no Uta, or maybe something like Noragami.

> What are some good recommendations for those just starting out? i would usually say whatevers popular at the moment as i found it more interesting to discuss anime with people online (attack on titan, my hero academia, demon slayer). i dont think id recommend any with more than 100 episodes since thats really intimidating lol , but most 12 - 24 ep anime are pretty good introductory ones , netflix has a good selection nowadays !

The rest of my family watches anime, especially my dad. It all started from the anime ''Tokyo Underground'' and Studio Ghibli films when I was 5.

Around 9-10 years.

Black Lagoon, AJIN DEMI-HUMAN, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Death Note, Kakegurui, these are just a few I currently enjoy the most as of now.

I'm gonna say this out of bias since these are my favourite animes but Black Lagoon and AJIN. However, in general, I'd recommend beginners to watch something that isn't as lengthy as One Piece or DBZ, perhaps something like Yuri On Ice, Death Parade or 91 Days.

Hi anime topic! So, just got the anime lootcrate from... last month. We were trying to get this month's crate but uh whoops. So... can anyone tell me if these are good or bad or what? I don't like sports...

* Yuri on Ice - Heard it's good? It's also gay? Fun? Who knows. apparently some nudity though but ijORgfdsuyfkj i assume it can be avoided.
