It's like the Erins introduced him to prove that they knew white cats with blue eyes were mostly deaf (and I'll bet you my life savings they didn't know that when they started writing) then immediately killed him off so they wouldn't have to go to the bother of writing a deaf character.

Not lazy at all. No sir.

They made a blind cat
then again he was able to SEE in his dreams and had freaking powers that helped him SEE the past

The Hunters do this thing where they create a character with "defects" solely for plot reasons. Snowkit was deaf so he could be killed tragically and move his mother out of the nursery. Jayfeather was blind for ~drama~ and to excuse his dream visions.

They definitely didn't do a good job writing Jayfeather. His blindness seemed to be ignored. Things like pelt colors, tails waving, and eyes 'glaring' were mentioned even from his point of view.

His blindness. Oh god. I can imagine it now in the future... so forgotten it wont even exist?

(Spoiler warning up ahead. Not like spoilers on this thread anything new, though, really.)

Well... to Erin's credit, writing a blind or deaf character make take effort. Or research! What a nightmare.

Jokes aside... I really wish Snowkit had been keep around. His death was just kind of silly. Alright, so he doesn't hear his mother's call to come back in the Nursery, fair enough. But in a camp full of healthy, brave, loyal and fearless warriors - I counted 20* warriors, queens and apprentices - nobody cares enough to help the aging queen save her kit? Nobody tries to intercept the hawk as it flies toward him, or rush in and grab Snowkit? And don't tell me they weren't close enough to do anything, this took place right in the middle of their freaking camp. Furthermore, Snowkit doesn't notice all his clanmates running for cover?

*counting the leader and deputy as well, excluding Cinderheart because of her limp.

For real. Snowkit had potential, but never trust the Hunters.

Off topic, but have you noticed that a lot of stories starring cats feature a ginger/orange male as the protagonist, and a white cat as his romantic interest? Off the top of my head, Milo and Otis, Cats Don't Dance, and Gay Pur-ee were some notable examples. I feel like there's one more, but I can't remember.

If the erins kept Snowkit and wrote him into the books he could have been really interesting, i mean consider Brightheart, the only cat with a defect they actually bothered to deal with, she and Cloudtail worked hard together to find a way for her to continue being of good use to her clan but with cats like Snowkit its like meh we'll just get him out of the way now sooooo lazy.

And pretty much forcing Jayfeather to be a medicine cat because hes blind, what if Starclan didn't accept the cat as their medicine cat what if they had other things in mind for him. I don't like how they never really used Longtail, i think he was mentioned once, to teach Jayfeather how he could hunt or even fight and basically navigate his way around the forest while blind cause he managed it for many many moons and Brightheart is only half blind
Trying to get back into roleplaying, haven't done it for a while. I like roleplaying wolves but they have to be realistic so no alpha beta delta and especially no healer ranks. I like big cats, horses, cats. I like roleplaying warrior cats. I don't play a lot with human characters unless they're shapeshifters or dragon riders.

So if you have a roleplay that needs more members send me a PM.

Ginger cats are considered handsome while white cats/ pale cats are usually pretty.
Its stupid. Wheres the love story about a black cat falling in love with another black cat or even a calico? Oh wait. There isn't one. Make sure all dark-pelted ThunderClan cats are evil, Erin Hunter.
Oh, that reminds me, WHY DOES EVERYTHING FLARE UP WHEN THUNDERCLAN GOES AROUND?????
Only a few times have I seen a fight or a problem WITHOUT THUNDERCLAN... I mean like RiverClan is mad at ShadowClan or WindClan is hunting on ShadowClan's territory.
