So, I've now tried every expansion pack.
My list:

Late Night
Generations
World Adventures
Pets
Showtime

If you guys ask I'll give reasons since I don't want to type it all out if no one's interested.

What's your review on Generations?

I wish they would make a seasons expansion pack. and the sims could cuddle underneath a blancket, it would snow, and there would be different holidays and stuff

They should make one called "The sims 3 Holidays" to where you actually have dates like "September 1st" and such, and the kids actually get summer vacation (Like a sim week long or something) and you have the holidays.

BTW, how was The Sims 2 Seasons?

I love the Sims 3 but I can't play it. Why? Because it keeps crashing. I'd be playing the game for about ten minutes, and the game would freeze, and after a few seconds the screen turns black, but the sound remains. The game worked perfectly fine for the first few monthes of playing. I have tried re-installing the game, but it still crashes.
My computer is Windows Vista, I uninstalled all my Sims 2 games so there must be enough memory.
Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix this? It is so annoying D:

Sims 2 Seasons was, in my opinion, one of the best expansion packs.

I think EA (or someone representing them) said something on the topic of Sims 3 Seasons a while back. I don't think they ruled it out, but they certainly didn't rule it in, either. Something to do with the fact that, unlike Sims 2, Sims 3 is a 'seamless' and open world, so you could imagine how much it would take for a computer to generate snow for an entire map. I'd love to have a Seasons Expansion Pack, I really would, but Sims 3 already has too many bugs and glitches, and a Seasons expansion pack would be a nightmare.

Though I think these were the only two glitches I had:

1. Every time I brought the toddler to the gym so I didn't have to hire a crappy baby sitter, my person would randomly stand up as if they were holding the baby and then sit back down

2. I had a ghost would stood in the middle of my table and would not go back to it's grave in the morning.

Yeah, the EXACt same thing happened to me when I first got it. I had sims 2, and the 3 transition wasn't easy on my computer. I couldn't play for a year. I just got a new computer

What I don't get is it worked for months, then started crashing. Getting a new computer is out of the question at the moment xD [Although, I could beg my brother to allow me to use his laptop. :s]

Any other ideas? :3 I've ordered the Sims 3 pets and I really want to fix the problem before I get it.

There should be a list of system requirments on the back of the game. First off I'd check your computer meets every requirement. (I also use a program called CCleaner that my brother uses at work, free and safe and it cleans up nothing you don't want deleted). Also see if you have any glitchy CC that could be causing your game to freeze and crash. If this fails, I'd contact EA Support. Hope this helps!

The summer vacation would be cool! and an actual first day of school, instead of the first time they go to school

they should also do a sims sports thing so you can actually "play" sports- like soccer, backetball, frisbee, and so on
