Maybe it's in the accent? Some words are spelt differently if you write a character using an accent. And I was always taught to not use 'said' as it's lazy; but it's honestly a life saver for if my characters aren't yelling at one another because they're falling off a cliff. Colour vs. color always confused me, too. (and counter-clockwise and anticlockwise).
I dislike hugs too, friend. And don't get me started on the little children climbing all over my shoulders, whyyy...

Oh gawd.. my little cousion (six) Sabastion.. he's all over the place, jumping off couches, knowing out his tooth with a cardboard box.. (actually that was my older cousin who did that by accident o3o) and ripping you're hair out and think it's funny *sob sob*

Oh god. How bad is growls in Survivors >.> The one Erin hunter story with dogs? Those books are garbage, and I never finished the third chapter of any of those books.

My sister tried both. She read a few of seekers, they sucked. Read a chapter of Survivors, sucked.

I read Seekers. I liked the beginning of how it told the life of the bear's, but then it began to being to get uninteresting. I mean, a bear that can shift into any animal (Or any shape, I guess. I read this when I was 12 ) That was just.. No, Erin.. Not even realistic.

I also enjoyed the first two books of Seekers, i thought the Erins managed to write it fairly realistically. Kalliks brother didn't want anything to do with her after they were separated which is what would happen in the wild
You can see the researched how bears live in the wild but then Erins do what Erins do and add supernatural elements into a story about bears just why it was great without Urujak the great bear spirit and i liked Urujak before he could do all that
