Ace Attorney!

It was a rumor started by one of the European Kotaku reps, they started all 6 of the original games will be adapted to the switch as well as a new tittle staring Phoenix. While it hasn't technically been "officially" stated, they seemed to have gotten enough information to announce a release of a new title.
Yeah it seems weird that they wouldn't keep it on the more portable system, since that's what AA has always been on

I would prefer it to be on a portable system like the 3DS, as it is basically the main system for Ace Attorney games, meaning the DS and 3DS. I would like it to be DGS, too, but...... if it is AA7 then why not?
Also, any of you watching the sub for DGS2?

To be fair, the Switch is portable, but not as much as the 3DS. Without the Joycons on both sides (both of which are about…two-and-half inches in width?), the size of the Switch is about as long as the New 3DS XL, and half as thick. It’s bulkier to lug around because of the Joycons, but it’s still portable.

Like I said before, though, it’ll probably be ported to another system at some point, so anyone who doesn’t have a Switch can just wait for that.

I think it would be interesting to have Ace Attorney be on the Switch; however, I like playing the games on a more reasonable portable console, such as the 3DS. It just wouldn't seem rigtht for an Ace Attorney game to be on something that is not as similar as to a portable console.

Will the new Ace Attorney game only be for the Switch, or will it be for other consoles as well?

I believe they said that they would also have it for mobile devices like they did with most of the previous games

I don't like the phantom so much (mostly because of what he did to Clay, and Apollo as a result), but I like Fullbright, too bad we never actually got to meet him

Tokyo Game Show is going to revive this thread maybe. Apparently there's going to be "unmissable" stuff being announced. AA7, maybe? I'm not sure if I'd want that or localizations of both DGS games.

Ahaha, yes, the unmissable TGS... I remember staying up until 3 AM to watch that... and regretting doing so immediately after.

......Anyways! Since I'm here, I might as well try and initiate some discussion. So, if an AA7 does happen, what does everyone think it'll be like? Like, plot, returning characters, etc. etc.

I personally have tons of ideas, ranging from possible character deaths to plot threads finally being tied up, though I'd like to hear others' ideas first.

honestly there's two things i want from aa7: finally tell trucy and apollo they're related. and...franziska + gumshoe return. i beg of you capcom!
i'd hope there'd be maybe some more appearance of nahyuta in the US but, i'd also love for some of the themis students to graduate... please give me robin!!!

Oh, definitely that first one- I've seen people discuss that "Well, they already pretty much have a sibling relationship, that isn't necessary", but cmon! They've been through so much, they deserve it. I'm hoping more for Gumshoe than Fran, but she definitely has a lot of potential that went unused.
Seeing how AA6 ended, I'd say with some degree of certainty that Nahyuta will probably return, but, knowing how wonky capcom can make things, I honestly don't know.
If I'm gonna be honest, I haven't thought about the Themis kids much, but the more returning characters the better!
