i normally just use those parts as intermission. i mean whats the point of watching it if we dont get to see orcs catapulting heads into minas tirith, right? haha kidding. thats the only thing that bothers me about the return of the king. it seems to just be battle after battle after battle...

Actually that is how it is in the books. I have read all three books.

Coolieo. I just recently read the Hobbit book again. The third book is a lot of battles along with the 2nd one. The third one isnt as bad.

ive been meaning to reread the hobbit! i read it in fifth grade and im in seventh now so i need to refresh my memory before the movie comes out.

It is a really good book. J.R.R. Tolkine wrote it for kids under 10 originally.
I read it 3 times now. I read the LOTR trillogy 4-9 times.
