Ash- is mainly for tabbies, since it's after the tree, not the fire residue. Pebble-, stone-, and storm- all work, but pebble- usually denotes size as well - it's up to you, though~
Well, -feather doesn't mean anything in this system; you would use -fur or -pelt instead. It's possible he'd be a -nose candidate, though; good sense of smell can often lead to excellent tracking abilities. Is this the case with him?

Name: Hemlockpaw(heart)
Description: A small, somewhat unhealthy looking white tom with copper coloured eyes.
Skill/Personality Notes: Training to be a warrior apprentice even though both the Leader and the current Medicine Cat want him to be the medicine cat apprentice due to a 'sign' from StarClan. He's been getting visions and seeing omens from about the age of 5 moons old, but he has his heart set on being a warrior. He's also prone to migraines and occasionally fits while having said visions, and generally isn't a healthy cat overall. However, he's extremely stubborn, digging his paws in and refusing to budge when he really believes something. And at the moment? He believes that the will of some dead cats in the sky won't stop him from being the warrior he wants to be.
This sounds really 'bad fanfic' and I don't care I love him
Name: Daisypaw(pelt)
Description: Daisypaw is a small cat, and I mean small. Despite being an apprentice, he's still kit sized! So small, it wouldn't be hard to mistake him for being 3 or 4 moons old. He's primarily cream in colour, with a white chest, underbelly, paws and tail tip, as well as a strange white marking on his forehead that could be mistaken for a star if you squinted. He has a pale pink nose, and pale pink inside his ears.
Daisypaws eyes are a dull green colour, and he's pretty heavily cross-eyed. It's unknown if this effects his vision or not.
Skill/Personality Notes: Precious cinnamon roll. Too good. Too pure.
No. Well, actually he's kind of a ditz with his head in the clouds. He gets distracted easily, and he's kind of sensitive and prone to being dramatic. He's also very bright and bubbly and eager to help anyone in need, even if he's not sure how.

Name: Cricketpaw (Can't decide on Cricketsong or Cricketwing..)
Description: A light brown tabby she-cat with bright green eyes. She has a semi-small, lithe body, and normally enjoys talking with her close friends.
Skill/Personality Notes: Bright and bubbly personality, but tends to jump at every little sound and movement. Sometimes she has days where she is as nimble as bunny, but some where she's as clumsy as a badger with no left foot.. She is skillful at hunting (especially birds and rabbit) and has the unique ability to jump a tad higher than most other cats.
Which do you think is best?? Cricketsong or wing? Or do you have a better idea for a suffix?

Hello there, Whistle! Nice to meet you.
I think your names are great for both of these~ But yes, be careful when writing Hemlockpaw, I think. If you do it right, you'll likely be able to sidestep a lot of tropes. On -heart, do keep in mind that it's meant to be positive; if by the time he's a warrior, the leader can see that he's doing the right thing by becoming a warrior, he could earn that suffix; if his subbornness is still seen as negative by then, it's much less likely.
Daisypaw is precious, ehehe. I'm not surprised he'll end up with -pelt though; I doubt being cross-eyed will be good for his training.
Happy writing, and feel free to come again!

Good to meet you, Kripto!
I'd actually recommend -whisker for your suffix; this indicates excellent hunting abilities. I want to add, also, that cricket- may not fit your cat's appearance. Where is your Clan located? Some areas have crickets that are green, or only very dark brown or black.
I hope this is helpful! Feel free to write in again.

The clan is just kind of off in the woods I guess?? Idk, lol. And I was going for her ability to jump fairly high, not her appearance; however, the crickets where I live can range from a light brown to dark brown/black color, but I'm not one to argue with someone's opinion ^-^

Ah, okay! And feel free to argue with me, she's your cat after all!
Prefixes, in this system, are based off appearance only, as that is given at birth. Her mother wouldn't have known that she would be a good jumper later in life; that would just be a neat coincidence. If the crickets in the region work for that pelt appearance, though, that's excellent.
Does that all make sense?
