Description: she has a leopard like coat except its gray instead of gold. She has amber eyes and a little white on her tail.
Personality: She is a warrior and is very skilled in battle. She likes to swim and catch fish In the river. She is very aggressive on the outside and when you get to know her she's the nicest cat in the world. She would do anything for her friends and loved ones. Even betray her clan, she's loyal to bothe her friends and family and her clan.
Could I have some suggestions on a name for both please?
Hello, Jazzcat!
I'm not sure Nightfeather's markings would be possible, but her prefix does work. I'm not sure about suffix, though; I need to know skills more than personality.
Smokespot's pattern is called a spotted tabby, and her prefix is great for that. She sounds like -stream or -claw would fit her best; -claw is for fighting skill, and -stream is for strong swimming ability.
I hope this is helpful! Feel free to write in again.
Thank u it's very helpful

On suffix, I would go for -flower, definitely.
I'm not sure your prefix works, though. Fawn- is for the colour, not the baby deer, and fawn is a very pale brown. I think you ought to try some others.
Sorry, everyone, on not working on the prefix list; I'll try to get to starting on that this week. Thank you all for your patience~
Ah, thank you ^^I'll look at the prefix list now! C:
Righty. I found Dust-, Dusk- and Tawny-, but I'm not sure uvu I have Dust on a few OCs, a main one too. On the description on Tawny, I'm not sure if it fits her. I like the sound of Duskflower and Tawnyflower though.
I'm not sure how dark she is from that photograph; she looks like she could be dark enough for dusk-, but the lighting is making me hesitant.
FairyCharmed wrote:Okay, back with a few cats who need naming c:
Description: a reddish brown tabby tom with 'classic' tabby markings, a lighter brown underbelly, and light amber eyes
Skill/Personality Notes: This cat is a curious soul, always putting his nose into something he can, often getting into trouble, though this has lessened somewhat upon becoming a warrior. He is of average skill level in hunting land- or air-based prey (mice, squirrels, birds, etc.), fighting, tracking, stealth, and jumping/climbing. His real strength is in swimming and catching fish.
Description: a golden-brown she-cat with faint tabby stripes on her tail, darker tabby stripes on her legs, and green eyes
Skill/Personality Notes: She is a kind, caring she-cat who strives to heal a cat's injuries or illnesses as best as she can with her vast knowledge of herbs.
Note: She is a medicine cat.
Description: a long-haired gray-and-white tabby Maine Coon tom with fur that refuses to be flattened by any amount of grooming. He has bright amber eyes.
Skill/Personality Notes: This tom is a laid-back and carefree cat who is somwhat of a flirt. His long fur makes him a terrible swimmer, the wet fur acting as dead weight, but he is of average skill for everything else.
Hope this is enough of a description ^^' Take your time please c:
Hello again, Fairy!
Red-brown tabby tom: Definitely a -stream cat. I don't want to throw prefixes at you, though; go ahead and look at the list, and see what you like. You might try checking both the Ginger and Brown sections.
Golden-brown molly: Same notes as above on prefix. I'm not sure on suffix, here, although it's possible that her 'vast knowledge of herbs' would be enough to earn her the -leaf suffix, if she's skilled enough.
Grey-and-white tabby tom: [insert above prefix notes]. Perhaps you've got a -cloud cat here. Patience is the key trait for that, so laid-back and carefree tend to coincide.
I hope this was helpful!

Ooh o; I like the sound of Rowanstream for the red tabby o; Fox- is a bit overused so thank you ^-^
For the molly, I think Honey-, Gorse-, or Larch-... I'll have to look at some cat photos and pick out what kind of golden-brown pelt I want her to jave, but thank you c:
And for the Catsanova (hue), -cloud looks great o; Hmmmm... there's so many to choose from though Thistlecloud or Gullcloud is nice. I understand the cat would have to be living in a Clan near the ocean for the latter, but it sounds great to me haha.

I just wanted to tell you how the traditional naming prefixes had me thinking of making Clans living in the US state of Washington (I could have chosen Virginia, where I lived before moving back to Korea, but wanted a bit of a challenge). While I thought that the suffixes are a bit limiting for names, the traditional name prefixes really helped me expand my list of possible names ^-^ I'd like to thank you again for this amazing thread and to that guide of yours for the inspiration c:
(They are still on a planning stage but I'll make them a reality soon)

Hello, Paperd!
For your prefix, I suggest you take a look at the White section of the prefix list linked in the first post. Feather- doesn't really describe what your cat looks like, as feathers can be such a wide variety of colours, and his tail wouldn't have looked feathery as a kit.
I'm not sure about his suffix, because you haven't told me anything about his skills or personality.
