Well, obviously, if the cats were named for things, they would know that the cat's name is Sloe-. With canon naming, you have no idea.

    Oddfoot was a name change; one of his feet was twisted inward. He probably should have been given a different name, though, signifying an injury rather than... whatever 'odd' indicates.

    Edit;; Actually, he was born with his foot twisted that way. It would be interesting to learn more about him, but he only appears in Code of the Clans.
