Well, he's jerky in the book. And kind of in the movie.
In the Desolation, when Legolas is holding the Orc kidnapped guy, he looks pained.
I'd love to be held by Legolas!

WOAH WOAH hold up if you have time to join her rp you better join mine. Note I really really really like my rp buddies even ones I haven't rped with in so long I am suffering from deprevation of not rping with captain greenleaf O.o
