Guess who's returned? cx

Name: Featherwing
Description: A small silver/gray tabby she-cat with green eyes;
Image
Skill/Personality Notes: Her main skills are climbing and hunting. From an early age she had enjoyed it, and still does. She's got a sweet personality, always happy, but can be stern when needed to and is sometimes strict. c:

Hello again, Greystripe! Nice to see you.
I'm afraid I can't recommend your prefix or suffix. Feather- doesn't describe anything about the appearance of the cat, in that it describes many colours at once - feathers can be blue, grey, brown, black, red, yellow, etc depending on what kind of bird they come from. You'd be better off finding a prefix that clearly indicates a grey cat.
On suffix, I suggest going for -tail or -whisker, depending on whether her climbing skills/agility or hunting abilities are more notable.
I hope this helps; as always, I'm happy to answer any further questions or comments.

I have just one question that has nothing to do with Warrior Cats. How'd yo get the animated picture up on here? I really am dumb about this stuff. Like the one where The Doctor is showing his pin to someone. :P i really don't know haw to do that.

    Name: Swiftfoot.
Description: Swiftfoot is a slim, small she cat. She has light grey fur and her remaining eye(she is missing one) is bright green.
Skill/Personality Notes: Swiftfoot, due to her size, is not the strongest cat in her clan. Despite this, it helps her when it comes to speed. Her small size makes her one of the fastest warriors her clan has. Swiftfoot is very shy and modest, and even a little jumpy and paranoid. The reason behind this was because of her being attacked by a badger as an apprentice, and loosing an eye in the process.

It's fine! The coding is [.img] image url [/img.], but without the spaces and periods.

    So here's that gif: Image
And the coding for that is [.img] http://media.giphy.com/media/ElD1umWAqKgHC/giphy.gif [/img.], but again, without the spaces and periods.
    Hope that helps!

Name: Brighttail
Description: ginger and white tom with yellow eyes; polydactyl (extra toes)
Rank: deputy (much to his surprise and the surprise of some of his clanmates)
Skill/Personality Notes: brighttail is excellent at balancing in the treetops, and is known in the Clan for his climbing skills. he enjoys climbing into the trees and watching the migrating birds or to watch the sun rise/observe the stars. his favorite place is in the trees. he doesn't care for getting wet, and is deathly afraid of thunderstorms. he's a daydreamer, and has been known to come back from a hunt and tell his clanmates about how pretty this one pigeon was that he saw while hunting, much to their annoyance. he's very laid-back and playful. doesn't always take duties seriously, much to the chagrin of the senior warriors (this got him into trouble a few times as an apprentice). he's very laid-back and tries to avoid confrontation/anything that stresses him out in general if at all possible. he's pretty easygoing towards others.
other: he used to scared of heights as a younger cat, but overcame them with help from his mentor (though, if it can be avoided, he doesn't like to climb too high - he knows his limits.)
falls in love a lot, and some of his clanmates don't know how to feel about this. on one paw, the clan has kits which is always good. on the other paw, though, some of them (senior warriors mainly) wish he would focus more on his duties, especially now that he's deputy.

Image
Name: Magpiewhisker/Loonwhisker
Description: black and white tom with amber eyes and a graying muzzle
Rank: Senior warrior (might become deputy when brightstar ascends to leader)
Skills/Personality Notes: his hunting skills are fantastic, no cat denies that; they can count on him to almost always bring prey home. he is very patient in hunting, and can sit and wait for as long as it takes to get his kill. however, his patience only extends to hunting. he's short with younger cats, as he's seen quite a few of them to rush into things. he doesn't care much for the younger, rambunctious apprentices, but he would enjoy the company of a more thoughtful, calm apprentice. he favors wit over strength, and tries to act mysterious, but his clan sees right through him. he can be judgmental, and doesn't like cats who don't take their rank seriously.
Other: has a fair number of scars, and has seen his fair share of fights. he's getting older, and he secretly worries about his place in the clan. he knows the elders are well-cared for, but he doesn't want to retire just yet. good at hunting in rain.

Image
Name: Fritillaryclaw
Description: ginger molly with green eyes
Skills/Personality Notes: Fritillaryclaw was named after the butterfly, and was given -claw, as she quickly excelled in fighting. Fritillaryclaw spends her days sparring with apprentices (and older warriors, if they agree to), guarding the camp - especially the nursery as her mate is expecting kits soon - and taking enjoyment in taunting pompous toms. she's very competitive and fearless, never turning down a challenge. she does know when she's outmatched, though if the cat is close to her skillset (there have been a few, much to her delight) she's more than happy to continue. she challenges herself to do new things everyday, as she can get bored easily.
Other: she's somewhat cooled down, as she's set her sights on becoming the clan's next deputy. she's very close with magpie/loonwhisker, and some cats from the other clans have inquired if they're mates. they say no, every time.
Fritillaryclaw used to be a medicine cat, but after a week or so into her apprenticeship, she decided that path wasn't for her, and got assigned to a warrior mentor.

Hello, Banana. I must have missed your post before; I'm terribly sorry about that!
Swiftfoot's suffix is great, but her prefix doesn't work. Swift- is after the bird, not speed, as prefix is given when a cat is just a squirmy little kit, and must be based off appearance. The common swift is dusky brown, but can appear black in flight, so either of those colours works for that prefix.
For your cat, I suggest you look at the Grey section of Ailuronymy's prefix list (linked on the first post) and find something you like.
Hope this helps; again, sorry about the wait.

His name is excellent, and he sounds like a wonderful character. I am curious as to how a daydreamer who doesn't take his duties seriously became deputy, though. You don't need to justify it to me if you don't want to, but it's something to keep in mind.

Another great character with a perfect name, whichever you choose. I suggest looking at photos of the birds you have in mind and seeing which you think has more fitting markings.
I'm not sure about his placement of deputy when Brighttail becomes leader; do you think these two would be able to lead the Clan, or would Magpie/Loonwhisker be too frequently fed up with Brightstar?
One quick note on loon-; it's your choice whether you use loon- or diver-, but I would go for diver-. Loon- has connotations, and I would be concerned that people might have questions about the sanity of your cat. Not everyone grasps traditional names as they are intended.

Her name is excellent; it's fun to see fritillary- paired with -claw. She sounds like a neat character to write.
    Happy writing!

You too cx//

Thank you! I'm thinking maybe Rainwhisker/tail? I like the -whisker suffix, as I haven't used it too often, but her agility comes first. I suppose it'd be Raintail then, but I'm still not sure on the prefix. cx

    Aw, thanks, ehehe.
Rain- could work so long as she doesn't have too much white, but I'm not sure on using it for a mackerel tabby; I think it's better for spotted tabbies. Up to you, though!
Suffix would be dependent on how she compares with other cats in her Clan, in this case. If her agility is more notable, go with -tail; if it's her hunting, go with -whisker. Does that help?
