Let's Read: Warrior Cats Series

She's extremely annoying. I can kind of understand her wishing that she was normal, I guess, but her actions during the bumbleXdoveXtiger subplot bug the heck out of me. I haven't picked up a OOTS book in forever [or a warriors book for that matter. lol] so I'm sorry if I get something wrong here. Anyway, first of all TigerXDove was just a horrible pairing. Tigerstripe was nothing special at all, he was basically just another typical "tsundere forbidden love interest". Plus, the fact that they were meeting in secret to begin with was both immature and stupid. I mean, come on, up until this point, from Firestar's generation onwards alone, there had been FIVE forbidden romances!! Assuming that two or three is the average for forbidden romances per generation with this clan [which makes me wonder why they have that part of the code to begin with considering that it's always being broken], you'd think that they would have heard by now what happens to cats in forbidden relationships. And Dovewing was just horrible to Bumblestripe. She used him so that her clan would think that she was in a relationship they would approve of, all while still drooling over Tigerstripe. And then, at the end of TLH [which I hate], in order to resolve the stupid, contrived love triangle that was only there for fuel for the plot, she went off with bumblestripe! She used him, and then she suddenly decides that she's in love with him??

...So, yeah, I hate Dovewing.

Ahhh...you said everything I wanted to say in there. I could probably add a lot more to that rant you did but it'd take up the entire page so..yeah.

I gotta add on to this. spoiler alert, but it's this whole love triangle thing that makes one of the reasons why i hate Dovewing. So, she started off liking Tigerheart, and then she used Bumblestripe, and at the end of TLH she ends up with Bumblestripe. But is that part of the story over? Unfortunately, it's not. In Bramblestar's Storm, she and Bumblestripe grew sort of distant, and then they weren't mates anymore, which makes me sure that Dovewing went back to Tigerheart again.

I still like Tigerheart and Dovewing, but nor Bumblestripe and Dovewing ;u;

I'm Pretty sure we all hate Dovewing, but the only thing I like was that DovewingxTigerheart. BT I like Tigerstar, Scourge, all the bad characters.

Reading some of this makes me scared. Since I haven't read the 6th book of omen of the stars, I'm pretty sure I will hate Dovewing now. But right now I like her. I hated that part when blossom fall or some other cat says that bumblestripe likes Dovewing. My reaction was. BUMBLESTRIPE! GET OUTTA HERE YOU LADY STEALER! TIGERHEART HAD HER FIRSTTTTT! IF BUMBLESTRIPE AND DOVEWING GET TOGETHER IM GONNA PUNCH SOMEONE!
So yeah. I know that bumble and dove are gonna be together...why?!?!? I liked Dovewing and tigerheart!!!

YAYAYAYAYAYAY X3333 I'm just really sad when tigerheart betrayed Dovewing so he wouldn't look like a traitor. Like when tigerheart went in their territory to smell the bush to see if it was shadowclan scent to see if they were on their territory even though it was tigerheart who went on their territory and omg whyyyy?

I have always disliked Dovewing. She is so stinking annoying! I feel as if she dosen't care about anything and is unfaithful to her clan until Dovewing's Silence and Bramblestar's Storm. Yes, major spoiler for anyone who hasn't read either of those. She looses her power and she is calling out in a tunnel to see how long she can hear her echo. First of all, she needs to be helping her clan. Then Bumblestripe comes in. He tells Bramblestar that he needs to come see Dovewing.

She really wants Tigerheart still?

She has a perfectly good mate right there. She has liked 3 cats by now: Tigerheart, Bumblestripe, and Foxleap.

I can't say much about Dovewing, since I stopped reading after PoT. That's when the series really went downhill, just personally speaking. But my least favorite character besides her is a tie between Lionblaze and Ashfur. I can't stand either of them on a meta level.

Hollyleaf was a really good character, though. (Or at the very least, she had a lot of potential). Jayfeather wasn't bad either. I generally can't stand the villains, they're all pretty bland and have the same motivation (aggressive, skilled fighters who want power/territory) but I actually liked Mapleshade from Crookedstar's Promise. I'm hoping they didn't mess her up in OOTS or her upcoming novel.

In my opinion, Lionblaze isn't so bad. I don't like the fact that cats have powers in general but I think the Erins finished his character, unlike many other. I also will say that I like Cinderheart. The whole reincarnation thing is not something I like about her, but I like her personality and I think her and Lionblaze are pretty cute.

I don't have any words for Jayfeather. He is so awesome. It's good to see a grumpy character that is not evil for once.

They didn't screw her up in The Last Hope, she's still wonderful! I hope she's still so good in Mapleshade's Vengeance or whatever..

Fair enough, I can respect that. ^^ I didn't really like what I saw of him in PoT, but I think it was just his power that ruined him for me.

Also... thank goodness that Mapleshade's still good. She's my favorite Warriors villain by a long shot. After what happened to Yellowfang...
