I used to like Warriors too, but I was having trouble getting into the books and eventually have up.

Lol. I still like Warriors. I've read every single book, and I'm not lying. I'm still chasing after the new Dawn of the Clans series, and I've read the first book. But LOTR will always be the best for me!

I stopped reading warriors at the end of the power of three...I think... I'm not sure, but Erin Hunter is actually a bunch of different people all writing under the same alias. Sometimes things would get mixed up...

I know, right? Now that I see your gif of the Battle of Helm's Deep with the elves fighting in the rain... I seriously feel for them, I nearly missed the bus and just about got hit by lightening in the rain e_e

I wonder how rain and wind would affect the flight of an arrow... hmmm....
I've never been shooting outdoors before, but I want to try it.

Wind will probably affect its flight, but an arrow can shoot pretty fast and far for about 400 meters before it starts to lag... so possibly the force of the arrow being shot will be stronger than the wind? Unless the wind is heavy... XP I'm not too sure about rain... obviously they will affect the vision of the archer lol, but wouldn't the arrows themselves slice right through the rain drops?
I haven't started archery this year yet, but I'm dragging my friend along to the classes.

I love archery <3 I wish I had more time for it though *sigh* I'm not that great of a shot, but I hope to improve soon. We're going to set up a little range here on our property soon, so I'm really exited for that!!

I still want to name my bow, but I can't find an elvish name that I like. Maybe you could help me with that

Maybe Caeldrim? A derived version of the Elvish words 'arrow's flight'. ;3

And lol, I'm afraid to do archery because I'm scared I'll end up hitting someone XP my official classes start next week. Its a long wait.

And I envy you. Your property sounds just awesome, like the dream home I'll probably never have XD

How many acres do you live on Elwing?

I used to live on 3 acres... That was before my Lotr days, but we moved when my parents got a divorce.

I live on two acres. We had this house built, so it it pretty much my parents dream home. (if it was my dream house I'd have my own room) the property is awesome, and I love having this much space after being crammed into a itty-bitty 2 bedroom apartment.

and legolas, don't worry. As long as you follow the basic rules of archery you'll be fine. It takes a little while to get used to shooting, but I'm sure that you will do great!

Caeldrim is pretty. Do you know how it is pronounced?
