Yep. I tried to play it but failed hard. That was before I got Pearl, though. I just caught a Castform, a Carnivine, a Sharpedo, and a mate for my female Absol. I <3 Absol. Heeeheeeeheeee!

-gasp- That reminds me! While on vacation, i wanted to head down to a games store and see if i can get my self a Soul Silver or Heart Gold!

i have found a cheat, but so far i have found out that it only works on certain ds's. Mine works, but my friends dosn't, while my cousins does. Give it a go:
Get the poketch set to calculator. type in the national dex number of the pokemon you want, then press the left trigger. delete the previous number and type in the level you want and press the right trigger. delete that and type in 5 and press start. then walk through some long grass, you should get the pokemon you want at that level.
e.g i typed in "483" then pressed L, then "100" then pressed R then "5" then pressed start and i got a level 100 dialga. a

also, i think my game has a glitch because all the wild pokemon i get are shiny, but if i try to trade them, they turn normal!

Oooh yeah! Today I went and bought Soul Silver! Any tips on getting started? My mission now is to find the 'Heart' guy, and try out the gyms. I checked out the pokewalker, and my pokemon's level rose! Just jog around the room 20 times?

well for one train your team realllyyy good. cause when you get to red, (dont get him confused with ash cause ash sucks at life) his pokemon are in the 80's. his pikachu is level 88. the game itself is preaty easy. my suggestions are to send over pokemon like aron, bagon, and other psuedo-legendary pokemon from pokemon d/p/pl. train them along with your team and you will have a fairly good team. for the beggining part its good to choose water type pokemon cause in the game totodile and croconaw, and fraligatr are the strongest starter pokemon. until you get to about the 6th gym everythings easy. the elite 4 for some people is hard to find because you have to go back to new bark town, surf across the wtar and you end up in kanto (well not really, but your close). but over all once you beat the game there is still alot of things to do. enjoy your pokemon soul silver and if you get your pokemon level up to the level 80's mabey we can battle cause im sick of battaling the elite four and red.

Sounds like me with Pearl. I'm saving up money, to get HG, but I won't have enough to get it until July, which makes me sad. TvT On the bright side, my sister's birthday's next month, so that means she can play SS while I watch and can learn from her! She's also gonna get an AR, so I can work my *future* Darkrai on Pearl then send it over to HG!!! That makes me happy! ^V^

send over a arceus because when you try to enter the house in the rununs of alph in hg/ss you trigger a event were you can get a level one dailga, or palkia, or giritina.
