i don't think his father used to beat him, he used to bully him like humiliating him in front of the village by challenging him to fights he knows he can't win. I don't think Esther would have let him

It's true, Mikael also did humiliate him in front of the entire village. I agree, I don't think Esther would've let him beat Niklaus, but he still might of when she wasn't around.

I'm hoping that Kat doesn't die! According to the spoilers~

A. there will be a major breakup.-true
B. A fan favorite will say goodbye.
C. There will be a body switch

And we're also going to see a character die. One of the main characters.

Niklaus will return in early 2014 and he will not return alone, and Katherine and Elena's relationship is about to become more complicated.

Okay~ im guessing a fan favorite will say goodbye/main character die is referring to Tyler, Kat, or possibly Nadia (I hope not). After all, all 3 of those characters appear. Tyler makes sense because Klaus is also appearing. Maybe Nadia will protect Kat from Klaus?

I dont think there will be a body "switch" but im thinking that Kat will be a traveler in Elena's body. That would definitely make Kalena more complicated, especially the relationship with the Salvatores.

Yes, i am a hardcore TVD/TO fan.
