Also, none of the teaser trailer footage will be in the actual movie. It's some kind of thing Pixar does where they do separate animation for the teaser trailer.
So I just learned 'Brave' takes place in the 10th century, and there is some sort of archery contest where Merida's suitors compete for her hand... but apparently that doesn't quite sit well with Merida...
Interesting idea for the bear being a cursed person, Toothless. At least it seems like that from the summary, and that's what I thought at first, but considering Pixar always tries to be different, and that's sort of been done in 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Brother Bear' I'm starting to think it's less likely now.
It seems to me like the bear's a villain, and he's the beastly curse...? I mean he's obviously no Koda; he's got some serious fangs and claws on him. Still, he could turn out to be a nice magic-type bear, and they team up - or he could be evil. He's awesome either way! Rawr!
I saw all news of this at care2. so many women are not happy enough. some other said some places in Scotland did have more empowerd women. But many just have a "why u hollywoodz make dippy princess movie where she dosen't want to be a princess, and rebels and has to be strong, strong like a man strong"
do they forget that sometimes, in history, queens weren't more powerful than kings, women had "nothing" or not much.
maybe they would be happier if they made a film of a pesant farmer boy who becomes a princess. or a nobody girl who mucks the stalls of knight's horses who becomes a hero and no be Mulan.
I'll still see it. I'm not like those fools.
