Decided to watch Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) tonight, as I recently finished the book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. While there are quite a few changes, including some very major ones, they only added to the thrill and suspense that I found the book to be lacking at points.

Also put on Catch Me If You Can (2002) in the background the other day. A personal favorite of mine. Action-packed and highly entertaining, with a healthy dose of emotional depth that you can’t help but relate to.

13 Minutes. It was surprisingly good! Not a whole lot of decent tornado movies unfortunately. I enjoyed the different characters' stories and how they all ended up meeting each other throughout the movie. Some of the characters were extremely unlikeable but that didn't take me out of the film too much. I also enjoyed how instead of it being strictly about the tornado(s) it focuses more on weather preparedness and how seriously watches and warnings should be treated. As well as how unsafe it is to shelter under an overpass during a twister.

I am super sad and angry that one of the characters' parents ended up disowning him for coming out homosexual. Genuinely broke my heart.
