imgur works perfectly fine, even if your images are "hidden", and not posted in user submitted.
i use it all the time to display artworks for my characters c:

they definitely don't show up as broken images and it's super simple to use

Imgbb and sta.sh are pretty good from my experience. Maybe even use google drive?

I usually just make a weebly site. That way, I can upload images from my computer or even phone and also save signature and bbcoding as I please. Plus it only takes 5 minutes. It doesn’t have to be pretty if you don’t plan on showing anyone
