Linking help needed, please

Hey, so I've been on CS for a while now, but I'll admit, I've never learnt how to link a certain post. It looks the same way as a normal link, but instead it goes to a certain post, even if that post is in the middle of a completely different page. I've always been curious on how it's done. I could just be super dumb, and it could probably be the same as any url linking, but I'm not sure, and simply don't have the confidence to PM someone asking for help. Can anybody help me, please?

If you look under the title of the post, to the left of where it says "by [username]" there will be a little rectangle thing - click on that and it will link to that specific post, and then copy the link at the top of the screen like normal! You can also just click the title of the post, but some people remove the titles from their posts so that way isn't possible for those posts
