Hello there! I'm Vesper, up there is Snitch, and this is my art shop. I hope you're doing well!

Rules

• You may upload any commissioned pieces to Toyhouse or other sites, as long as I am explicitly credited and you are not claiming the work as your own. A direct link to my Toyhouse or Instagram is all I require.
• I require at least one digital fullbody reference image for every character I draw. While there is an exception to be made if you are only ordering a headshot or bust, the reference must still be digital. If you want me to work with only a written description, you should be ordering a custom design.
• After your order is accepted, you have three days to send the payment. At that point I will remind you, but if it still isn't sent another three days after that point, I'll have to cancel the order.
• If you are ordering two characters interacting in the same piece, please clarify their heights and relationship to each other.
• You may not remove or obscure my signature for any reason whatsoever, nor may you trace or edit any of my artwork in any way.

• Don't claim the design as your own; always credit my Toyhouse or Instagram, and don't edit or crop out my signature for any reason.
• Don't resell the design for more than you paid unless you've made or received additional art of the character to increase its value.
• You may change the design as you see fit, as long as I am still credited for the original concept.
• The more detail you provide, the better! I work best with clear and detailed instructions on exactly what you have in mind — don't worry about being picky.
• I am willing to design fan OCs, but only if I am familiar with the fandom they're from. For a list of fandoms I'm familiar with, check this out! TTRPG characters are exempt from this rule; I'll gladly design your existing character, regardless of whether or not I'm familiar with the specific TTRPG they're from, just as long as you provide sufficient explanation on some campaign-specific details such as custom species or artifacts or anything of the sort.
• Special note: If you're looking for a space-themed design, you've come to the right place. I would love to design a character based on a real constellation, nebula, planet, or galaxy—or even make up a fake constellation to base them on!

Useful Information

• On average, it takes me anywhere from two weeks to two months to finish a single commission, depending on the complexity of the order and how busy I am. If you are concerned about how long it's been, feel free to ask me for an update — just be respectful and please don't rush me. I can assure you, I have not forgotten about your order.
• My order of priority is first come, first serve, the only exception being that I usually work on custom designs last because they take significantly more time and effort than any other commission type.
• The number of slots you take up corresponds to the number of separate pieces you order.
• Once your order is accepted and I have received payment, I will send you a sketch to approve in case there's anything you'd like me to change before I continue working. (This doesn't apply to sketch commissions, as the sketch is already basically the finished piece.) After this, the next thing you receive will be the finished piece. This is because I most often start and finish orders in the same sitting, as this is the easiest way to ensure I get them done in a timely manner.
• By default, everything except for sketches and custom designs will come with a transparent background. If you would like it to be a solid color instead, let me know.
• If you want any modifications made to the finished piece, you may ask me. I will make up to five minor changes. Minor changes include but are not limited to things such as color corrections, lineart adjustments, and of course, fixing any mistakes I may have made. I will not draw an entirely different pose, outfit, or background for a piece that has already been completed.
• I reserve the right to use any commissions as examples of my work, which may include posting them to social media. If you don't want me to post your commission anywhere public, please tell me and I'll refrain from doing so.

• Simple scenes (only on grayscale sketches)
• Stars / space, clowns / jesters, creepy / horror-based characters <3

Anything in this list may be subject to additional charges, most commonly the complex design charge.

• Feral reptiles, fish, and equines
• Most closed species
• Machinery and armor (as long as it's not too complicated)
• Experimental / lineless / full scenes (at a much higher cost; examples here, ask for further details)
• Fake Undertale battle screenshots (examples here; no animations, though!)

• Any type of NSFW or suggestive artwork
• Heavy gore (I can do blood, but not open wounds)
• More than two characters in the same piece
• Anything hateful or discriminatory towards any person, thing, or group
• Anything against CS rules

By default, design sheets come with one flat colored fullbody, one flat colored bust, some relevant notes about details of the design, a color palette, a closeup of the character's eye, and a full-canvas simple background.

Please note that the examples shown for this section were made for my personal use, which is why most of them don't follow the same pattern.

Add-ons

Not applicable on headshots. This charge will only be added once, even if your character has wings AND a complex design.

As a general point of reference, designs that are very lineart-heavy, have many accessories, or have large color palettes (>10 colors) will have this charge applied. If you're unsure whether this applies to your character, feel free to ask!

A textured and/or patterned background, usually made up of 2-4 colors and containing hand-drawn symbols and decorations. This can either be a simple shape floating behind your character or a full-canvas pattern. If you're adding this to your order, please specify whether you'd like a shape or a full background.
