hello and welcome to my humble art thread! I won't pretend formatting is my passion- all of my artistic skill goes into my work and humor, instead- so please don't feel as though my art is as simple as my shop!

I'm a pretty friendly pal, so there's no need to be formal when ordering art. there are three things I need from you- a reference, time limit, and description of what you want! anything else here is just me over-explaining and isn't required reading. if your time is short, there is an ordering form at the bottom of this post for your convenience.

you can contact me at any time, for any reason, because I am lonely. please don't stress about all the rules and guidelines and getting prices right and understanding my strange systems- if you get something wrong, it's no issue.

*none of these examples were commissioned- all of them were designed and drawn by me, for my personal use at some time or another. the grey guy's name is kint. most of the kint images were drawn just as stylistic examples, so they suck. all of the guys up there are friendly, feel free to say hello! they're also mainly skeletons because that's what I spend my free time drawing haha. they're mostly heavily outdated.

please be aware that I am not great at drawing humans or drawing in general.
I'm pretty goodish at skeletons and only skeletons, but I'd say I can do a cool animal. you're welcome to order whatever you desire within cs's guidelines, though!

• [notebook]
this is your basic sketch! I'll clean it up so it looks nice, and your character's personality should very much shine through. it's cheap because it's easy! no watermarks, pay up front. shouldn't take me longer than a day! comes in both digital and photo (pencil drawing) flavors.

• [ink spill]
this option is a clean, lined image of your character. there are no colors. it may seem simple, but the linework is the most time-consuming and tedious part of a drawing! no watermarks, pay once I confirm your order. should only take up to a week, around and up to four hours of work.

• [paperfly] (experimental)
a lineless style I've been messing around with. simple, clean, and minimally shaded. pretty fun, but a simple style works best for simple characters. watermarked, pay once I send you the watermarked version. should only take up to a week- around an hour or so of work.

• [flatline]
flat colors with sometimes a sprinkle of cell shading tossed on for flavor. good for references and other places where you'd not want the detail of a piece to take away from the details of your character! watermarked, pay once I send you the watermarked version. should take anywhere from a week to three- around one to four hours of work.

• [dignity]
classic, full-fledged art, with all the bells and whistles. you get colors. you get line shading. you get extra effects. this is my normal commission go-to! watermarked, pay once I send you the watermarked version. could take anywhere from a week to a month, and takes around four to eighteen hours of work.

• [harsh night] (experimental)
oh, here's a doozy. instead of soft, edged, cartoony shading, I instead mimic realistic textures. this style is dark, but fun! watermarked, pay once I send you the watermarked version. could take anywhere from a week to a month- around four to twenty hours of work.

by choosing this discount, you agree that I can use the image I create for you as an example image for any future or current art-things I do, only demonstrating my abilities, and also that you will link my toyhou.se (it's in my signature) to the image I create for you if you upload it to your toyhou.se. it's very helpful and I very much appreciate it.

• returning customer
if you've ordered something from me before, be it here or by my free art thread or have even received a gift, point it out! I love seeing that you liked my art so much that you came back <3

• skeleton
does your character have the skele? does it? great! has to be a skeleton, not just have one under their skin.

• puns
I love puns this doesn't give you anything it just makes me happy and gives me written permission to say puns at you

• overdue
if your art piece has gone over the maximum soft 'time limit' (i.e. a week for an ink spill) outlined above, for the love of the stars, don't keep waiting! depending on how long it's been (and the waiting list of customers at the time of your order), you can redeem this for free cs currency. I get incredibly guilty and you don't deserve waiting that long.

• art trade
I love art and am always open to art trades. whether I'm good at them, well, that's another matter. send me some examples and your prices, and if I agree, we can subtract the cost of one of your pieces from your order. just because I don't agree doesn't mean I don't like your art- I get intimidated much too easily! this option is exempt from the discount max, and requires discussion.

ordering process:

- choose your style, flavor, and size. busts are usually shoulders/neck and up, while fullbodies are just that- your character's full body.
think really hard about what you want.

- post here or pm me with the above information, a reference to your character, and your 'bribe!' go into as much or as little detail as you want, but the more detail, the better. talk to me about pose, expression, general vibe, clothing, and other things important to the art. if I need more information, I'll pm you for it, so please check back once in a while or alert me if you'd rather I just go with my gut (i.e. if I need magic colors, gum/tooth layout, or something else not in the reference). add your discount codes!

- I will begin working as soon as possible or let you know if I feel I would be unable to sustain my standard of quality while working on your request. yada yada, you've heard it before, but sometimes life does get in the way, so please straight-up tell me if I am taking too long! you can also request to see my progress, and for the sketches of my work before I give it bones (warning; these are mainly to convey posture and may change throughout)

- as soon as I finish, I'll watermark my work with a message that usually equates to something like "wingsofwasp stolen bread unpaid artwork" or something weird like that. after you receive this, send all payments for the piece, and then I'll give you the unwatermarked version! warning, if you skirt payment, the artwork will not belong to you, and I will freely use the art as an example in the future. you'll also be reported, so that's fun!

I've decided to turn this into a bribe/pwyw shop now that I'm (more) satisfied with my art. I'm still an amateur, though!

I reserve the right to decline requests, so please keep in mind that *very*unfair offers are not likely to be accepted! however, if I'm not working on anything at the moment or like your character, I'll be willing to accept less, so don't worry about underoffering ^U^ I'm fairly easy-going as people go!

omg so rares of any kind are worth three commissions of any type at full priority. and/or more

you can do whatever you want with the image, be it delete it, admire it, edit it, post it or copy it (inside of cs rules). however, you are forbidden from reselling it or reselling branch-offs (i.e. traces, edits, or more.) if you decide to gift it, the recipient will be under the same rules. you may only sell the art if the original character for which it was made is sold, and only then along with the character, factored into the price. I will keep a copy of the art, but will not use it for anything unless you allow me to or you attempted to scam me. still, don't expect me to retain it- please download a copy of your art to ensure it is safe!
