I have the right to change my rules whenever I feel like it needs to be updated/changed.I currently do NOT use the on-site Oekaki.I currently don't have the proper tools to create art effectively through the Oekaki boards, so I will strictly be working with an off-site drawing app instead.
I have the right to use any artwork(s) I create however I see fit.If it is an original work (eg. an original character/fan character), the most I will do is repost it to my other accounts/sites, UNLESS the commissioner tells me beforehand that they wish for it to remain private. Please be sure to tell me if you want it private before I finish it. I have the right to sell fanart (eg. art of characters from games/movies etc.) as it is a pre-existing copyrighted character. If you would like to buy the copyright from me to sell it yourself, we can talk about that, but keep in mind that the price will vary depending on my state/country at the time, and can be very costly. If it is art of a copyrighted character and your own original character/fan character, it will go by the OC/fan character rules and will not be put up for sale.
You are allowed to repost commissions/art trades/requests/gift art you get from me.This is so long as it is the watermarked version that I post, with proper credit, and not for a profit.
Do not ask me to draw in another style.You are commissioning me for my style. If you want art in someone else's style, please ask them instead.
My designs/artwork/characters should not be given away to people I have blocked/foed/blacklisted.I recognize that I cannot legally enforce this, and I will not try to, so this is here as a personal preference.If you purchase an adopt, buy a design, get a custom, or anything that involves my work, I ask for it to not be given to any person that I have blacklisted for any reason. Please ask me before selling/gifting/etc anything of mine so that I can check to make sure they are not blacklisted, and so I can keep up with where my work is.
Please do not change my designs/adopts/etc to an unrecognizable point.I recognize that I cannot legally enforce this, and I will not try to, so this is here as a personal preference.I don't mind if you add/take colours, or if you move markings, or if you swap colours etc. Just please do not make it look like a completely different character. You buy the designs because you like them, not to change them to suit you. In that case, please just make your own or find one that properly suits what you're looking for. Keep in mind, I do make customs.
Please do not sell my designs/adopts/etc for more than you paid.I recognize that I cannot legally enforce this, and I will not try to, so this is here as a personal preference.This is honestly just very rude to myself and whoever buys the adopt from you. Please only ask for what you paid. The only exception should be if there is extra art involved, which can up the price to a certain extent.
Please do not ask for an ETA of your commission.I often work out of order, but I do work fairly quickly, so I won't be able to give you an exact answer. If you want it finished by a certain time/date, please make sure to come to me a week in advance. Unless you have given me a due date, please do not rush me. It makes me uncomfortable and will make me more likely to terminate the commission.
Please tell me in your first DM/email if you'd like process pictures of your commission.Doing so will cause me to work slower on your piece as I have to wait on your okay before continuing, so it is much easier for me to work all at once, but I can understand wanting WIPs. While in the sketch stage, you are allowed ONE full resketch of your commission (eg. a different pose/idea/character) as well as three smaller changes. After that, I will have to charge a fee for any further charges. If you exceed a certain amount, I will terminate the commission and refund you up to whatever state the commission as in. This is due to the fact I have seen people being scammed so that the person ended up making off with many different sketches/poses/etc that they would normally pay extra for.
I will give full refunds, but only if you're purchasing through Chicken Smoothie pets.Chicken Smoothie is currently the only place where I am more than willing to give full refunds, regardless of what stage the commission is in, but only if I am paid through pets. This is due to me not wanting to try and sort out what pets should be going back or not, depending on their worth. If you use C$ to pay me, I will refund you up to whatever state the commission is in. For example, if I have not started yet, I will refund you fully. If it is at the sketching stage, I will refund you up to the price of the sketch, meaning you will have paid for the sketch instead of the full piece. Once it is past the flat colour stage, I will not give a refund and will instead finish the piece.
I have the right to refuse a commission, with or without an explanation.Sometimes I'm simply not available enough to take on a commission, it might make me uncomfortable, etc. If I feel as though I could not do it justice, I will most likely refuse. Please do not take it personally as it has nothing to do with you.
I will only be doing digital until further notice.No, I will not be sending any art through the mail. I can email you a higher resolution picture with and without the background/watermark. Again, please only post the watermarked version.
