Welcome to my shop! My name is Chan. I'm an Animation student and a seasoned commission artist. I've worked for more than six years drawing for real money, and now I'm opening up a lil' shop for pets. :] I can draw anything from animals, to humans, anthros, monsters, scenery, and much, much more. I do both portrait and character reference sheets (minus text). I've worked in many styles from western cartoons, to anime, and realism. I also know how to animate, should you want an animated drawing. Anything you want done, I can do. I'm extremely long-winded, so please bear with me. XD

Rules, Terms and Conditions!
1. All CS rules still apply. See here
2. I reserve the right to refuse service, without explanation (though I'll probably give one).
3. I reserve the right to use my creations as examples and to be posted wherever I please, unless other arrangements are made.
4. You must credit me clearly wherever you post the drawing.
5. No begging.
6. Bumping without a reason is not appreciated, though you are free to ask questions both in this thread and through PM.
7. There is a down payment of half for cheaper drawings, to a quarter for very expensive drawings.
8. You will receive one in-progress preview drawing complimentary (when applicable), more must be purchased.
9. You must fill out the whole application. You will only receive one reminder of missing information before your application is disregarded. Exemptions are made if you need assistance filling out the application.
10. I only accept 5 jobs at a time unless I have more slots listed. No waiting list. You may still post if you have questions, but you will receive no preferential treatment when I open again. Job slots are separate from Special deal slots!
11. I will try to complete work in a timely manner, but I will inform you if your drawing is being delayed. I am a slow worker due to a full time job, and full-time school! Please keep this in mind!
12. If you pay the down payment, but fail to pay the remainder, you will not receive the drawing nor your down payment back. (So please don't lose your pets between start and finish of the commission process.) If you do make a mistake, we can try to work things out.
13. You will type in the best of your ability, Txt and Ch@t$p3Ak are not acceptable!

Commission Process!
There are a few steps to take when you commission with me, and they are as follows;
First: Read the rules.
Second: Fill out the application.
Third: Wait for the application to be approved, and be informed of the job's cost.
Fourth: Send pet trade suggestion.
Fifth: A PM will be sent back with value of each pet, and the trade suggestion's total value. Further communication until the Job's value and the Trade Value match.
Sixth: Confirmation of Details and projected job time frame. Send down payment (If applicable)
Seventh: Receive In-progress preview drawing. Confirm or request changes before continuing.
Eighth: Receive PM asking for final Payment. Send remaining payment.
Ninth: Receive drawing via PM, and drawing will be posted in thread.

Payment!
To pay for your art, you pay with pets. Each pet has it's own value. The value I call "Chan Points". Each pet in Chicken Smoothie is worth a certain Chan Point (CP) value based on some static criteria, but also how much I like it. You add pets to gather more Chan Points. You don't need to do the math yourself, I'll do it for you. The information (for those of you who like math) is available a bit lower, should you want to predict it yourself. I only accept pets on my wishlist, or newborns from current litters of Dogs, Cats, Butterfly Wolves, and Second Gens of those species.

If you're confused, just remember, payment is the same as everyone else, except you can see the "Hidden Values" to better guess how much I charge. If you fill out the application, I'll get you through the rest so don't worry about calculating it yourself.

The math for pet value is pretty simple. Take your number from section 1 and add to your section in number 2...etc. Add your number from each section per pet.

So as an example, I'll use the natural Kitsune (Orange one in my sig). It's common (2CP), a dog base lineart (3CP), on my wishlist (2CP), A favorite (5CP), a dreamy (10CP), Natural Patterned (2CP) has additional features like the floating fire (2) and has noticeable lineart modifications such as the tails, expression, face/chest fur (2). All together, a kitsune is worth 28CP! That's a whole lot. XD Sometimes I'll add points to a pet because I feel like it. Whatever value I assign to a pet in our PM discussion, I'll stick to, even if it's rarity changes, it's removed from my wishlist, or is no longer a favorite. If it's value goes up during our transaction, I'll edit it's value to reflect that.

This is for those of you who've come after I've closed, want to recommission me for something else, or just want to hear about my promotions or deals coming up. You can sign up as "Open Alert", or "Mailing List". "Open Alert" is for anyone who wants a commission, and that's it. I limit any messages you'll receive from me to either have to do with your order, or to tell you that I'm opening soon. Being on my "Mailing List" means you're kept more up to date. I will tell you when I'm opening, but also what promotions are coming out, any deals I have going on, any additions or changes to my rules/options, etc. I won't spam you, just inform you of anything a frequent commissioner would want to know.

Commission Details!
The details of your drawing determine the cost. In each section the options are listed in order of cheapest to most expensive. You may ignore the values at the end of each line if you do not wish to do a cost estimate of your own. These prices are not set in stone, and are subject to change. Once quoted on a price during a transaction however, I will not change on you.If you would like to pre-calculate, just add the points from your choice in each section together.

Chan's Point Bank!
Sometimes there's no easy way to get the exact point value of your job. In that case, you may end up with leftovers. It wouldn't be fair for you to just lose that value, so the leftover points will be stored as CP✪ (credits) in my bank! You can use them to supplement the next job, or donate to someone else, etc.

If you've Stuck with me this far, I figure you're serious. The application's not too bad, just fill it out to the best of your ability. Be as thourough as possible. Drown me in information, I like it! If you don't, I'll just ask for more! Remember nothing can be left blank, including the image reference material! It doesn't have to be a drawing of your character, just relevant images. Please be as specific as you possibly can! And please, follow the outline and don't just type all the information in a jumble. You don't need to post the outline, just the information you would put there.

Requested Character Description
Put EVERYTHING you can think of for this character. Link a short story of them. I want EVERYTHING so I can really know who I'm drawing. I need concrete details! What color is their hair/fur, are they skinny,short, cute, sexy, pidgeon toed, knock kneed, covered in spots, etc. What's their job? What do they do all day? What kind of impression do they give? Do they dress snazzy? Do they normally go naked(Animals only please!)? Do they dress to impress? Do they come off as a bum? Do they come off as reliable? Everything is valuable information!
Requested Character's World
Fantasy Europe, Ancient Japan, etc. If it's made-up by you, describe it! dominant species, technological vs natural, etc. Is there a job system? Does it have trees? Does it have Animals? Are they earth-like flora/fauna, or something different?
Requested Background
Flat Color with Gear patterns. Cute pink gradient. In their bedroom (describe!). In a Forest with eleven trees two shrubs and half a burning bush with pink grass and orange flowers and magenta leaves with teal trees. Details on character's world is doubly important if you want a background environment.
Reference Material
Images of any previous art of character, CS pet in archive, similar drawings/characters, celebrity face it was based off of, real animal it's based on, world looks like, photo of a place they might visit, what they house might look like etc. Only Images/Image links here, please! Anything relevant, just make sure I know what each image is representing. (This is a photo of a forest that my character would live in -link-, here's her character sheet -IMG-, etc.)
General Comments
Anything about the image, character, things to keep in mind, gift to be delivered, hopeful deadline, what kind of pose you'd like, etc.
