edit; also gonna drop ideas in case you like any of them (woops i forgot), these are all in the bio just in case it's too long or you want a list to pick from

1. he has an unspoken peace agreement with his direct subordinate/friend's companion cat kyo, who's just a plain regular cute black cat (think kiki's delivery service LOL) so maybe like him just chilling with a black cat or something

2. he used to be a bounty hunter in his late teens/early twenties, you're totally free to play around with that concept too! i'd imagine he had a ponytail like this during that era since it was a lot of traveling and tracking down targets for weeks/months on end. outfit-wise, maybe a standard tunic/pants/boots/etc? i'll leave it to your imagination if you have ideas! he wouldn't have jewelry during this era, and his eyepatch might be diff/he might not even have one
