While they are an avid collector they are selectively mute and will write down in a miniature notepad when it wants to communicate but can't. They can be on the shy side and tend to hide their face in chomp's paws when flustered our nervous, also having a stim of shaking their hands out like they're wet when they feel overstimulated and stressed. On a good day though they can be exciteable almost to the point of being hyperactive and speak a lot with their paws and body language.
