Insperation: autumn leaf in the snow

This here is part of my insperation, the other part, im sure i dont even have to say it. ^^

Autum Ice
A small, orange, burst of colour
The brightest thing around, like no other
A splash of fall, deep in the snow,
Its not supposed to be there, doesnt it know?
I stand and stare, its so astounding,
To watch a little leaf, half drounding
In the frozen, un-moving sea of snow and ice
To be untouched, un-nibbled by mice,
The perfectly reserved shape of the leaf
Ice crystals forming a cleer, protective sheeth
Guarding it from the wind, from the cold,
Keeping it from time, sheltered from old
The little red leaf, standing out in the snow,
It's not supposed to be there, but it couldn't possibly know,
For it has been kept from time,
That stiff, little red leaf of mine

And there you have it XD I am oficialy awesome, as stated by graysen. ^-^ thanks so much for this order gwey, it was undescribable to make, very awesome idea. ^^

*bows* Thank you. I'm always inspired by those kinds of leaves that I find in the snow and ice while I'm walking down the long stretch behind the backyards in the neighborhood when I get off of my bus. The colours are so beautiful and stunning when solitary and set on the sheet of white.

Why you want the poem: Because I need some other way to tell my bester how I care. she just moved school (never cried so much in public in my life) and I wanna send her a letter.

Who ever smartly said
Distance isnt dead,
Was 100 percent correct
For distance isnt a concept,
Its a million miles
Seperating our sad smiles,
But that doesnt mean
