i started of my life at a professional stud who treated me wonderfully and gave me love and attention. my mother a famous dressage horse was always competing away and i was left on my own in the paddck that i shared with one of the other fillies. One day we saw my mother in action and couldnt believe how good she was. they then put me through my paces trying me at all the skills my mother new, i was still learning and i new i could do it in time. The then sold me to the rider and trainer of my mother we were taken to their farm, i had begun competing at a highr level i then progressed before my mother retired and i carried on competing with my owner until she bought another youngster and i was given to her child who loved me even more.

I stared at all the grass and open distance of my home but wasnt as happy as a horse should be. I wanted a person, a person to come and love me. As i munched on grass I imagined my self with a young girl riding on my back as we swiftly galloped in the mountians. It seem to be such a wonderful image. But I was distraced as I heard a car pull up to the shelter. Nickering I trotted to the fence. I watched as a blonde girl steped out of the car and looked around, soon her eyes landed on me. My heart raced and I winnied loudly. She giggled and walked over to me. Her eyes sparkled and she slowly reached out and touched my nose. I pushed up to her hand and closed my eyes. It felt so wonderful to be with this person. When she took her hand off my nose i turned around and let loose of all my energy. I galloped, bucked, danced, and winnied. She watched in amusement. I walked back over to her and bobbed my head. Hopeing today was my day, to be with a person. My, person.

3) Story of this horse: Lakita Was once Loved by a family, and was a competitor in Local Barrel Racing classes, by Her Owner's Daughter until an accident that left her with a broken leg. She was about to be put down, but the vet came up with way to let the leg heal. The family went on with the vet's treatment, and soon her leg was healed, but the daughter had found a new horse, because it took over a year and a half to get her leg well enough that she could compete again. The daughter said it took more time to fix than what Lakita was worth, so the girl's father sold her. When Lakita got to the new home she was wecomed into the family. The owner was an older lady, well in her sixties, but she still looked young and healthy. The woman loved her and took very good care of her. She looked stunning. The lady that bought her often showed her in halter classes, and showed her in Western pleasure shows aswell. She was her pride andd joy. The lady soon fell ill, and had to move in with her daughter, forcing her to sell Lakita, to a not so friendly Man. The man was a mean one. He kept her out in the paddock, most of the time with three other horses... with almost no food or water... Her ribs began to show, and her heatlh detiorated. She got so weak she could barely stand... onbe of the other horses had died, and she thought she was next.

she thought she was a goner until one day, a Cop had gotten a complaint of severly under norished horses and he came to investigate. the complaint was valid. The two horses that were in the paddok were sevberly malnourished and looked absolutely awful. The cop arrested the man and he summoned for a shelter to come and take them away. Lakita was split with her paddock friend and taken to a differnet shelter, one that could take care of her and make sure she was taken to a wonderful home. Her health began to improve and she was becomming her self again. She was soon put up for adoption, and she awaited her new home.

I'm a bit confused about how to adopt the new horses. How do you pay? Is it the best payment that wins the horse, or the best story?
