Nope, it's explained in the 1st post. Until they are 1 year old they don't have any gender related features. Pup images picture them as 8 month old pups.

S.Corgi@ There never was first come first serve adoptions. It may seem like that cause in the first week pets weren't alot of "money" so alot could auto biddded them.
