Well as she represents me in many ways I'll put my personal answer. Hope that's alright. ^^
I'm a major insect and arachnid lover, but I'm pretty terrified of earwigs and centipedes. They fascinate me but at the same time I can't stand the way they look and move, lol. Put me in a room full of spiders or bees and I'd probably enjoy myself quite a bit, but a room full of earwigs or centipedes would be up there on my worst nightmare list. xD

The thing that scares my character the most/the spookiest thing for halloween is... The scary parties/celebrations. She once went to a haunted cornmaze and there was a guy chasing her with a chainsaw. When she ran into a corner and found out it was a dead end, she got so scared she screamed and peed in her pants. People used to call her 'scaredy cat' because of that one incident. Of course, that eventually died down, but Shortcake is still very scared and won't go anywhere 'scary' without lots of friends.

The thing that scares this character the most is the thought of bloodshed. Leafstar is a clan leader and always tries to keep peace in her clan and with others. Though she know that one day a battle will arise.

The thing that scares my character the most/the spookiest thing for halloween is...; Venus is quite into the superstition, she's very open minded about things when it comes to the topic. Even though Halloween is a fun, expressive holiday, she can't help but look at it like her ancestors did before. A night where the dead return to this life to contact the living. Not just the typical ghosts and ghouls children dress as, but actual entities from past life. She rather sit home reading a good book to get her mind off the matter and hand out candy, rather than scare herself with the paranormal.
