Hi there,

We just wanted to explain how sorry we are that The Island of Kiana didn't work out. We regret that it had to be cut short, but it was a little too much for Tardis and I to handle at the time. I'm afraid that we won't be able to start it back up again for now, but we are thinking of trying it again in the summer when we have more time. For now, we would like to extend an offer to anyone who feels that they didn't get their money's worth out of it. We can refund part of what you paid if you wish. A few options would be to pay you back about half of what you paid for your unused bottles and/or companions that didn't get used much.Rest assured that all of your companions will still be yours, and we will never use them or sell them others.

Please send us a pm to let us know if you would like us to refund you for any of these things. If you would like to be refunded for companions that you don't feel where used enough, please let us know which ones. We won't tell you that you're wrong to ask for any of these things, we'd just like to know for the future. Thank you all so much for taking a part in The Island of Kiana while it was here.

(The Island of Kiana will be back in some form or another closer to the summer. For now, Tardis and I are thinking up ideas to help it run more smoothly for you. I'm just going to use this post to work on formatting so we can be ready for the new season )

You wake to the sound of a soft breeze, rustling the leaves of far away trees. As you open your eyes, you see a clear blue sky, not a cloud in sight. You slowly stand up, dazed by the sun. You find yourself in a large clearing circled by tall, luscious trees. Looking around, you notice a small shack in the center of the clearing. Curious, you walk towards it. You suddenly notice all the strange creatures strewn across the clearing. They don't appear to be moving... Could they be... Sleeping?

"You there!" Someone calls. You snap out of your daze and whirl around to see an old man by the shack. "Come to get a Companion, eh? Go on then, look around. I'll be in here when you need me." You look around, mesmerized. Companions... That's what these things were. As your gaze drifts around the clearing, you find yourself entranced by one of the creatures. Could this be meant for you?

• The island of Kiäna is full of creatures called Companions that you can adopt. In your care, they will grow and develop personalities and quirks. Not only that, but they will influence the world around them.
  
  
• You can purchase bottles that will give your Companion a new look based on it's theme. It can also affect the way they act, what they can do and how they interact with their world.
  
  
• Only one bottle can be used on a Companion at a time. If you want to apply another, the new theme will take over the existing one.
  
  
• Each Companion is completely unique, so if someone has already adopted one, you'll have to look around and find another that's available.
  
  
• Your Companion will wake up shortly after adoption and start to develop their colourful designs and personalities.
  
  
• You can have as many Companions as you'd like. If you have more than one, they'll interact and help each other grow!
  
  
• Tardiscraze will be designing some of the Companions as well. If you adopt a Companion that she has designed then she will be the one to update the drawings when they age or when you give them bottles.

The price shown is in either C$ or Chicken Smoothie pets. You can choose one of any of the options listed. (You do NOT have to pay every square on the chart!)
