Honestly if you were an artist would you truly want to take less?
She doesn't have a job, nor any other source of income besides her art. These CS pets don't equal real money. They aren't worth anything anywhere else besides on this site.
She offers fake pets and commissions on here as a way for people who can't offer real money who like her art on CS to pay her. However, like any human being, she gets easily unmotivated. And if she doesn't feel like what she is getting paid is worth it to her in some way or another she loses the drive and becomes unhappy finishing her orders.
She does get real life money commissions, and she does spend time on those. I don't think asking for what she asks for is asking too much. And people have willingly paid it. If there are people you feel are better whom charge less, then why did you come here to begin with?

What did I just read? You guys have expensive art, but in no way is it overpriced! And like you said, you are putting effort into your artwork and not getting real currency in return. Also, in my opinion, your artwork is better than a lot of art I've seen on CS!
