the wolf is gemma's wolf form - she's a lycan. they're essentially two different beings housed in one brain/body - the wolf is classified as somewhat of a parasite but represents a deeper, more raw part of gemma that she doesn't fully grasp yet. they're polar opposites but also weirdly similar in mannerisms. the wolf relies on survival instinct alone and needs to feed as soon as gemma shifts. very territorial and unpredictable - a very frightening mix for a lycan that lives in new york city,, where a lot of other people live. inspired by analog horror but the hyper realistic eyes some people use for that genre freak me out a bit too much so staying away from that trope of the genre would be ideal <3
