So what is this shop about?
At Gecko's Glitter, you can add some glitter to any image for a rather small price. Or, I can make you a glitter picture from scratch. There are no linearts here, since I believe everyone's picture should be unique. I'll draw almost anything you want, unless it's above my difficulty level. I'm not the best at humans, just to warn you. I also do animated avatars or banners, if that's what you're more interested in. You can also purchase non-glittered art for a lower price, but what's the fun in that? XD

What I offer:
~A pre-made glitter picture~ Just post the picture and tell me what parts you want to glitter. It could be a picture you drew or got permission to own. Image stealing is not allowed, and I will not glitter someone else's picture. If they want glitter on it, they can come get it themselves. Image stealing of any kind WILL get you on the blacklist. I will not be held responsible if the image is ill-gotten. To prevent problems, please post where you got the image so I can ensure it's not stolen.

~A Basic Glitter Picture~ I'll create a picture just for you! It will have basic coloring, and no shading. It still looks quite nice, though! It is a semi-cartoonish style that looks good just about anywhere. It can also be used as a banner.

~Shaded Glitter Picture~ Just like the basic glitter picture, I'll draw your design on the computer. This time, I'll add shading and highlights. The glitter will pick up on the shading, so the glitter will also appear to be shaded. It's really cool! It can also be used as a banner.

~Glitter Avatar~ This will be the perfect size for your avatar! It can be shaded or basic.

~NEW!Animated Avatar~ This avatar can do something simple, like blink, wag a tail, flash words... It's up to you what you want it to do! This can also be shaded, basic, or sprite. A sprite is a pixel image.

~NEW! Animated Banner~ Would you like to advertise your thread or just have a cool picture in your siggy? This banner will be animated, and can come either shaded or basic. It's pretty cool!

~Non-glittered Basic Picture~ This picture has no glitter effect, and looks rather cartoony. It's cheesy, but if this is what you're looking for, here it is. :3

~Non-glittered Shaded Picture~ I won't lie, this is pretty epic. The shading WILL look smoother than the cat in the banner, due to the fact that the jpeg is a bit better at that. It's perfect for a special character. If you like my art style, but not too thrilled about glitter and animation, this is the thing for you! This your typical art shop thing, so if that's what you want, I'll do it for you. :3

What is this going to cost me?
For just glittering a pre-made picture, two very commons or one common. The year does not matter, I'll even take pets that were available two months ago. Any free items (like extra medieval fair stuff) will also work. You basically can't really underpay for this. :3

A Basic Glitter Picture is three commons or one common. They can be from early 2011 or 2010. 2009 is overpay, but you're welcome to do that if you really want to! :3

Shaded Glitter Picture is either two recent uncommons (late 2010-2011), one earlier uncommon (2010 or earlier), or two earlier commons (2010 or earlier). If it is a very complex design I may ask for a little more.

Glitter Avatar will cost you one common for basic and an uncommon for shaded. The earlier the better, but anything is fine. I'll also take two free items for basic and four for shaded.

Animated Avatar will cost two commons for basic or pixel animated avatar, and an early common/recent uncommon for a shaded avatar.

Animated Banner costs two-three earlier commons (depending on the amount of animation) for basic, and one-two earlier uncommons (depending on the amount of animation) for shaded.

Non-glitter Basic pictures cost one earlier very common/more recent common. They are quite simple to do.

Non-glitter Shaded Pictures cost three earlier commons, two uncommons from 2010, or a recent rare, depending on the complexity/size of the picture. We'll work it out.

Extra pets will be donated, but please try to give me pets I don't have. I'll put more effort into your request if you are willing to pay a fair price and be cooperative. I do take rats, since I have them in real life. Cats are always a favorite. :3 I reserve the right to decline your order.

The way payment works:
1. Request art. Fill out the form correctly.
2. I'll do your art, and post it in "pickup" with my siggy all over it. This way, your can't steal.
3. You'll pay me what you said you would, or something of equal value.
OR
3. You'll "return" the art for half of what it originally cost, if you are unhappy with it.
4. If you liked it, I'll send you a link via PM WITHOUT my siggy all over it.

The Rules:

Nobody really likes them, but we've got to have them.
1. Obey all site rules. I will not let you get away with it.
2. Avoid foul language or insulting comments. If you wouldn't say it to your grandma, don't post it here!
3. Do not get mad if I decline your offer or am running a little late with the artwork. I'm a person, too!
4. Do not request art with anything inappropriate. I will also not draw any name-brands, or characters that are not yours.
5. I mostly do animals. Don't ask for anything else, unless it's simple and you're sure I can handle it. No humans.
6. I will not automatically friend you and want to chat just because you bought my art. Please only PM me for business reasons, unless I know you from somewhere else. It's not that I hate you, but I'm not that big on chatting.
7. If you are unhappy with the artwork, I do have a "refund" policy. You only have to pay half-price, but you don't get the picture.
8. Do not ask for free pets. Just don't.
9. I may use the picture I made for you as a reference on other sites. I won't use it in my siggy or on other websites as avatars or siggys. I'll only use it for reference purposes, or to show someone my skill level. I will not use your characters or species you created in other art. They ideas still belong to you.
10. You can't edit my pictures and claim you made them. You can use them as bases/linearts for free adoptables, although I would prefer you didn't make money off of something I originally made. If you do distribute them to others, give me credit.
11. Clarify. If I can't understand what you want, I can't do it for you.
12. If you are wanting glitter on a picture that has already been done by someone else, please either link where you got it or explain how it was obtained. If you steal the work, it's your fault. Not mine! But I don't want to avoid conflict.
13. If you give me one of my dreamies, you can have unlimited free items from the store. :3

Other notes and details:

~ Generally non-glitter images have a little smoother shading.
~ Glitter will not show up on black. Sorry!
~ Glitters are GIFs, Non-glitters are JPEG. If you need a different file extension, tell me.
~ It may take up to a week to complete your project. It depends on how busy I am.
~ I reserve the right to close at any time.
~ I do not have slots. It is a first come, first serve basis. If it gets too full, I'll close.

Examples!
I am currently trying to find some good examples of my work. Some things displayed here are a bit out-dated, and my skills have been improved. I will take utmost care to ensure that your picture is clean and epic.

Avatar is a simple glitter avatar. The banner is a shaded glitter, even though the shaded parts do not have glitter. The shading looks a bit sloppy, because of the format of Gif. It will be hidden with glitter.

I'll do all sorts of customs... Basically whatever hybrid you can come up with! Or you can specify a list of things you like and I'll make a character for you. This option and prices for it is still a WIP!

Prices have been reduced, and animations have been added! I am considering adding a "pixel box" option, as that seems like fun. Although I may have to make a separate thread to fit all that!

I wish I could add more examples, but all my most recent art has been done for contests. I'm not sure if I can post that here.
