I have been getting trade offers for my stuff, which is strange because i have no friends on this game, and this is my second post ever.
First, how are people finding me to trade with me, and second, how do they know what accessories i have when my pets aren't posted anywhere and the few i do have items on don't have the items people are asking for?
One person has requested my one and only rare from me in quite a few trade offers now, and at first they were offering me 2 pets whose rarity are still unknown (and that i have several of) in addition to asking for my accessories. I didnt even know i had the items they were asking for, which is disconcerting to say the least. When i sent them a PM telling them i wanted to wait a bit, to read up on the forum and see how trades are normally done, they sent a new trade offer that only wanted my rare with nothing in return.
I'll admit, my response to them when i canceled the trade wasn't very nice, but I dont understand why they think its ok to try and trick me into giving up the only rare i have for nothing after saying i was new to the trading aspect. I am not impressed by this and is has become a major turn off to this particular game for me.
If anyone can answer these questions for me, i would appreciate it. If this is in the wrong spot, I do apologize.

Well, I'm sorry to admit that that's how people are these days =( trying to trick newcomers into a bad trade to get a rare.
But, to answer your questions:
People can find you on the forums, right now someone could click on your name, go to see your pets, and make a trade offer for them. Or even if you're browsing the forum, they could look at the users online and click a random name.
When they set up a trade, they can browse through both your pets and your items.
To protect your rare from numerous trade offers, you can put it in a new group and disable the trade offers for that group. (This option is located at the bottom of the page, by the way.)
I hope I answered your questions, and I'm sorry that you were bothered.

Thank you. Set up the new group (and had three more offers in the mean time trying to get that same dog...)
Its strange though, i dont even come over to the forum. Other than today to post, i have not been here since my original intro a few months ago.

People often browse through the pets id numbers until they see one they want. I'm with Swiftnose on this, when you cancelled the first time they should have left you alone. I would say you also should edit your trading rules to say that 'Such and such isn't for trade' or anything else you wanted to put in about trading. If you go to 'Trades' and scroll to the bottom there should be a link that says 'edit trade rules' or something similar.

That's good that you ask on forum and don't PM some players who would not understand you as they don't know English*
Yeah, creating a trade group is the best thing you could do. It's easier for users to choose from this group and not to ask for any pet and get "no!" answer

*btw, what are they doing on .com website where English is mainly used...
