Welcome to the Rarity Changes Archive! This thread will be an ongoing guide to Rare, Very Rare, and OMG so rare! changes on the site. While the Recent Rarity Changes thread is a very helpful resource, I feel that having an archive to reference past rarity changes is very important. Knowing when each pet changed from one rarity to another is a rare insight into their comparative value.

To find a pet on the list, you can use the searchbar at the top of the thread, or hit CTRL + F to use your browser's "find on this page" function. Try searching only part of the word, like "Angel" for Angel Advent or "uni" for Nick Unicorn, for better results.

I've been working on this thread for a looong time now, and there is still more work to be done. This is where you come in. Because the first Recent Rarity Changes thread started several months after rarities started changing, I have been unable to confirm during which month some of the earlier changes occurred.

The pets I am unsure about are listed directly under the "Uncommon to Rare" heading (Rare to VR can be found in the next post). Almost all of these pets should have changed during or before March of 2010. If you were around during late 2009 and early 2010 and remember something about when these pets changed, I would be incredibly grateful if you posted here to let me know.

Other things:
1. This list has a lot of links. A lot. I would be very surprised if I didn't screw at least a few of them up. If you find an incorrect or broken link, please let me know.
2. For the sake of clarity (and my own sanity), I have not included some pets on this list and do not plan to add them just yet. What is being left out: Halloween '10 pets, Rainbow Horses, the more recent Store Pets, most Ponies (aside from the PPS), Nick pets, and '09 rats.
3. If you've noticed anything else missing on the list, please feel free to mention it.
4. I've gone through every page of both Recent Rarity Changes threads to get my information. If you think I'm mistaken about which month a pet changed, please have some evidence to back up your assertion. It's certainly possible that I've made a couple mistakes, but "I think I remember..." isn't going to be enough for me to justify changing something I've already placed.
5. This will be an ongoing project, meaning future changes will be added. Please don't post here as you're noticing pets change, that is what the Recent Rarity Changes thread is for. I will go in there later and update this guide all at once.
6. If you don't know the names of pets, please check The Guide Index which provides links to the unofficial names of most pets.

Chry's guide only shows the current months changes, she doesn't save the old ones. This is a list of all the past rarity changes. Thus why my thread has "Archive" in the title and hers has "Recent" in the title.
