What is Your Most Valuable Pet?

This page is to share where you got your most valuable pet. This means either the most expensive pet in your collection, or the pet that means the most to you as a person! This thread started from my own curiosity of how people obtained their valuable pets, then it morphed into appreciating people's stories, dressups, and adventures in getting some of their most precious and treasured pets.

So please, feel free to post some of your stories! Whether that's getting a Raven from the pound, spending your own money to get a set of store pets, or getting gifted a meaningful pet from a loved one. Also please answer the poll, so we have some accurate stats! I'm keeping a sort of rough tally of some of the stories I see on the post, but the poll is a more accurate way to see how people are obtaining their most valuable pets.

My personal fav additions to this post (AKA the ones I'm most jealous of, or the stories that touched me the most):
- an entire Warrior cats set from a quitting user
- the insane amount of Raven dogs that have been gifted and snagged from the pound!!
- a ton of VR bunnies from a quitting user
- the touching story of someone receiving a BEG after 9 years, and someone else getting a CEG on their one-year CS anniversary!
- the person who got the UR flamingo Dec 18 and put a sign (from the pound) that reads "single + ready to flamingle" because that's just amazing
- the UR bee trade (one day, my sweet, one day)
- uhhhh this trade, from before all those pets were VR/OMGSR
- the Dec 18 Strawberry shortcake adopt that symbolized hope and perseverance for one player <3
- oh my god
- the person who slowly collected the store deer set and it represents their growth from child to who they are now. awwwwww
- the person that traded for a Drink-Me dog, kept it over 9 other Drink-Me dogs, and that one ended up "sharing their future soulmate's birthday"
- I feel kind of weird mentioning my own addition, but the tale of Love Story will always be one close to my heart <3
- someone that has a pet with an ID# of 203
- someone that got a Zebra adopt with their horses on their very first litter - what a welcome to CS!
- the player that got a Cheshire Cat from the pound 39 days after joining

Hi! I just wanted to start a kind of poll/discussion about how people obtained their valuable pets. Both out of pure curiosity, and as a sort of guide? I can't seem to fathom how people have gotten these expensive pets without starting with expensive pets. Like how can someone trade up from an uncommon to a OMGSR?
I briefly looked around the forum for this type of topic and I don't think I found anything, but if there is one then please point me in that direction!
I know about the very rare/OMGSR successful trade thread, but trading a sunback and a couple other expensive pets for a skelebun is just unattainable to me from either side.
I've been on CS for years and I still don't understand how people get so many "list" pets, expensive pets, or multiple OMGSR without going completely broke (and considering lots of people don't accept uncommons/commons/C$ for their most expensive pets, I'm really just looking for someone to shed the light on the situation!)

Edit: I absolutely am LOVING the additions to this post, and I cannot wait to read more about where everyone got their most treasured/expensive pets! Here is a list of the origins of the pets that people post on here. I love lists and data, so this is mostly just for my own curiosity.

my most valuable pet is probably not a surprise, but it's the UR galaxy cat.

got the guy in a trade which included a UR tess cat that i got from a friend who got it from december 18th - my side was only the UR tess cat, and their side was the UR galaxy cat with adds to make it fair to me.
not too much of a long story, but hey, don't have too much to tell about him other than that.
and hey, here's a pet of personal value - they were made to fit my sona of the same name, aureus :)

the most valuable stuff on my account are probably my semi-custom items (vampiric birthday hat, chicken-o's flag, a rainbow smoothie at one point), and i got them through FR gems in an offsite trade ^^ i get my nicer stuff via offsite in general, it's very useful!
