"Is this a fair trade?"

It can be tough to know when you are getting a good deal. Luckily, this is a place where you can ask fellow players for their opinions on your trades. Or, for the experienced players out there, you can lend a hand to help others understand what they've been offered.

COPPA members are encouraged to send a help ticket for advice on trades.
Regular members should only ask here.

This thread is owned by, and will only be reposted by staff.

Rules for posting:

• Do not post "mark" or other empty posts
  
• Be polite
• Remember, everything is an opinion

Rules for seeking advice:

• Post only once per page
  
  • Multiple questions can go into a single post
  • You may repost your question onto a new page
• Use the [share trade] feature
  

  Go to the trade page and click on the trade you want to view.
  Scroll down to the very bottom of the trade.
  Directly above the 'Accept', 'Edit', and 'Cancel' buttons is the share trade link.
  
  Copy that link and paste it into the message or post where you want to share the trade.

• Do not offer rewards in exchange for advice
  
  • This encourages false advice
• Do not do something to make your post more visible
  
  • No attention-seeking text sizes or colors
  • No decorative images or gifs

Rules for giving advice:

• Give educated advice
  
  • If you do not know the answer, do NOT reply
• Explain your advice in as MUCH detail as possible
  
  • Do not post if you cannot fully support your reasoning
• Do not advise on trades you are participating in
• Do NOT contact a user directly criticizing their advice
  
  • Use the report button on the post so staff can remind users about giving quality advice

Tips for using this thread:
• Ask for multiple opinions!
  
  • It's ok to continue asking for advice after you've received an answer
  • It's ok to give a user advice even if they've already gotten a response
• Report posts which are spamming the thread or giving bad advice
  
  • Even if you aren't sure, it never hurts to report; staff don't mind taking a look to make sure the thread is a good resource for everyone
• Say "thank you" to those who help you!
• Research before trading or giving advice
  
  • CS staff cannot reverse trades which you were happy with at the time

Skeleton dog pps and the red rose are both .25 as TD’s but the red rose has significantly better demand
The skeleton dog pps seems to be trading/valued more at 3 ma’s, this is truly whichever pet you prefer

the skeleton pps is worth 3-4 mid advents
red rose is worth 2-3 mid advents
their side is over by about 1 mid advent. the rest of the items and the extra pet are extra.
it comes down to if you prefer the red rose or the skeleton pps.

please get a second opinion

This is unfair to them, they’re offering 8 pets for your 10, but 6 of there’s are older than yours

Actual math stuff:
Your side: 8 uncommons 2015 + 2 commons 2015 = 10 2015
10 2015 uncommons —> 5 2014 —> 2.5 2013 —> 1.25 2012 uncommon

They’re already offering 2 2012 uncommons for your side which is over
But not everyone likes to use the 2:1 rule like this

Really in the end it’s what you prefer, but overall, they’re overpaying
(I’m not considering any kind of demand)

thank you for all your opinions everyone! i just got sent another trade for the animal egg. not gonna lie, this one is really tempting since i collect bunnies, but i have no idea how the joker bun measures up in worth to gwj/zebra/the omgsr malk dragon. honestly all of this is a little overwhelming since i’ve had this egg for months and only started getting an influx of trade offers for it today, so any advice would be very much appreciated!
