Us older members are getting tired of dumb trades. So, this is help for newbies to stop making bad trades!
Oh, and thanks Li-La and some others for the help.
1.Check the trade rant thread to make sure you aren't doing a trade that will annoy other members.
2. Don't threaten people to accept. You'll get reported to the moderators and get put on the member's foe list.
3. If the pet you want isn't in a free adoptions group, don't ask for it.
4.Most members don't appreciate it if you just say "Edit."
5. You won't get any pets if you beg. This includes messages like "Pwease let me have this pet, it's so pretty" or "You had a extra, can I pleeeeeeaaase have this one?"
6. It doesn't help to say "If you accept, you will be my friend forever. really"
7. Chatspeak isn't good for trades. Avoid "plz let me hve this dog"
8. Read the trade rules of the member you are trading with. This is a bunch of writing you will sometimes see when trading with someone.
9. Do not, and I repeat, do not pay no attention to the trade rules of the member you are trading with. This can get your trade cancelled and you on the member's foe list.
10. Offering a warrior cat for a lion special.... Won't work.
11. If you aren't sure about a trade, go to the "Is this a fair trade?'' topic.
12. Until you get valuable pets for trading, try to only trade for pets three months older than the pet you are offering. You can see the adoption date underneath the pet.
13. Pets from July or such are still as rare as the original release when they are released in the advent calendar. So common advent's ARE NOT worth a moonswirl or a jewlrey sundog.
14. Look for a trade group. If it isn't in a trade group, it probably isn't for trade.
15. If the person you are trading with says no, it means no.
16. Quality, not quanity, counts. So your 20 october newborns from 2009 ARE NOT WORTH A JULY PET FROM 2008.
17. Being a newbie does NOT MEAN you can get free pets. You're not any better than older members.
18. Just because someone is a mod doesn't mean you can get free pets from them.
19. No many 2nd gens you offer, THEY AREN'T WORTH A CUSTOM. XD

Newbie help not involving trades
1. Putting a topic like "need this dog" in the free adoptions forum. That will get the topic locked or deleted.
2.In the oekaki forums, don't rate the drawings.
3.Don't spam the forums. If you want to spam, do it on another site please. Or, don't spam at all.

1. Most butterwolves or warrior cats aren't worth anything. Exeptions are the URs, the christmas butterwolves/warrior cats.The green butterwolf with black stripes is considered rare, and a pink shima butterwolf is too.
