Mods, please delete this if something like this has already been done, but I haven't seen it yet. >_< Also, if it is wrong in any way, just tell me.

Anyway, I noticed that there was a board dedicated to people who've received unfair trades and their rants on it. Then I thought, 'What about the people who actually give out gifts or help others? I know along the way many people helped me out when I was still a 'newbie'. Shouldn't they have a board too?'

So, have you ever received any trade or random act of kindness?

Rules:

1- Don't embarrass anybody.
2- This isn't meant to be a brag board where you talk about trades you've sent other people as 'acts of mercy'. This is meant to thank those who have sent awesome trades to you or just share some good trade stories.
3- Don't complain about trades here. That's what this board is for.

Oh. My. Gosh. My head is still spinning. It was an art trade, (my art for their pets) and this is what happened:

They got: One of my custom drawings.

I got as payment: A Joker, Advent Angel Dog, And Advent Fox! My three most wanted pets!

*is still waiting for the "I'm sorry, I was temporarily insane, can I have them back" message. It was sooooo nice of them!

Toothy11 once gave me a bobtail October and a three tailed pastel for free.

Alzephyr once traded me a Joker for a couple of Septs/Oct when she'd wanted an August just because I was her friend and not to mention how great she was with trading me my Cheetah and Pink September.

And them there is Lady Aracne, who gave me a clear eyed galaxy for my birthday, not to mention how many other wonder pets she's traded me/gifted me.

You guys all rock, and I'll never forget it. I'm so grateful to you all. *hugs*

This is a great idea It's always nice to be positive for once.

I can't remember their name off the top of my head, but I had a nice trade recently. Since I joined mid-August I adopted all my pets late, so I had a lot of newborns. Somebody was hoarding the "warrior paint" newborns and I had like six of them, and she had an ice shima -- so we traded. I got the shima I really wanted, and she got the newborns SHE wanted, and we both came out happy hehe

I'm still in shock, but a couple of days ago Hoshiko saw that this was my dream pet and gave me one! I basically spazzed out and startled my poor roomie.

Hoshiko, for serious, if you ever need a pet and I've got it I'll give you it! *hugs*

I traded some spare Octobers for a jewelry moon wolf once. That person must have been feeling really generous that day.

Fabulus sent me a January blue spot frosty dog just because it was on my wishlist. <3 I was super happy, that's one step further to a complete 2008 dog collection! *hugs Fabulus* I probably have a few other good ones, just can't remember them right now.
