•Hoards cannot hold more than one record at a time. This is to create variety in the records instead of the same two or three hoards repeated multiple times.
•Your hoard must only be in one linked group, pets in other groups will not count to your total number, and non-hoard pets will cause your hoard to be disqualified until they are removed. In cases as such I will PM you and give you 2 weeks to rectify your hoard and notify me once you've done so.
• Always remember, this thread is for fun too! Dont get upset if your record is broken (:

About this thread:
• I will go through posts monthly to update broken hoards, and every three months to update numbers/usernames/non-existent records
• Please feel free to PM me any queries or notice something wrong with the thread (links, typos etc), dont be shy!
• If you have any suggestions for new records, feel free to post, but I ask that you double check the rares list and special species topics before suggesting, to see which is better suited for your idea.
Things that will not be a part of these records:
-Artist Hoards There is no quick way to see at a glance whether or not a pet belongs in a hoard or not. You would either have to have every pet on the site memorized or cross reference it with the archives. The average user does not have the capacity for this kind of grueling leg work so it would be very difficult to see if a/each hoard member is valid or not.
-Color Hoards We tried this for a while, but there were arguments of all kinds about what color an animal is. (blue vs. purple vs pink) and how much of the animal needed to be covered in that color to qualify. Ultimately, we discovered that monitors can have vast differences in what a color is and there was no way to "spot the odd one out" if we couldn't all agree whether or not a dog was a purple hue or a pink hue.
-Pound Hoards For the same reason as artist hoards essentially. Every pet would have to be checked to prove they are all from the pound, which is too much to verify.
