Ever since I was a new member on CS, I loved the art done by Tess and her creative staff. But aside from the regular pets that were designed, I started seeing other pets, special and unique, unlike anyone else's. These too were gorgeous, and I loved looking at them. The only problem was that they were all separated on different parts of the site, and were difficult to find in one place. I found out these were customs, made special for their owners. So I made this thread to display them to the rest of the CS world.
This thread is to help show your custom's beauty to the rest of CS.

Read the rules before going down to the list please.

1. Do not post links to customs
   Please respect custom owners and their customs. If you found a custom that is not on the list, its not on the list for a reason! Do NOT link to it! Read first quote below if you want to know why.
2. Do not discuss new customs that have not been posted by their owner.
   Unless the owner has posted, please don't discuss their custom. (Example: Person A: "I saw a new custom and i really love it's tail!". Person B: "I saw it too and wow you are right!")
3. Once someone has stated they spotted a new custom, Do NOT ask to be PM'd about who's it is
   Either search for the custom yourself or wait until the owner of the custom posts it! (Example: "I can't find the new custom, can someone pm me?")
4. Posting "I've seen a new custom!" Is fine. Do not pm people with who's it is, do not hint at it, please follow the rules and respect the custom owners! They will reveal their custom when they want to!
   
   
   Please note: I will add to this list and expand the rules when i (Or staff) see fit.

Even though this is the CS customs thread, not every custom on the site is on this list. Why? Because some members prefer to keep their customs private and their own. A custom to someone is very special and it can be annoying if people are constantly prodding and poking at it with comments or personal views. Sometimes they are gifts from friends that are meant to be secret. So please, if you find a custom that is not on the list, chances are it will be one that is kept off for private reasons, and I don't want you posting it here and drawing attention to it. If you find one that isn't on the list, keep it to yourself please, don't tell everyone you know about it.

General Questions

1. What is a custom?
   A custom is a CS pet! But it’s not like your general pet, it’s different. Customs are pets that are created by Tess or by another staff member for a specific person. There is only ONE of each pet, and it has specific markings or a look that its owner gives it. They can be based on a fursona or an object, or just a person’s tastes and likes. They have no rarity and are very special and unique.
   
2. How Do i Get a custom?
   Please click this link and read.
   
3. How Did the people on the list get a custom?
   Customs are given to staff/guest-artists as a thank you for doing their work. Some other people have customs because they are friends of Tess's or friend's of staff.
   
4. Are customs trade-able?
   Yes and no. Customs are basically like regular CS pets, they can be traded and have items added onto them. A custom is usually a special pet with special meaning and thus, the users who own customs won't trade them. Please don't ask for customs if you find one, even if it's in an unlocked group!
   
5. I’ve seen some interesting items out there, are they customs?
   Chances are, yes. If you found an item that nobody else has, or is unavailable at the store. Some examples of custom items are Moose plushies and Rainbow smoothies. Custom items are given as gifts and prizes, and the same rules apply to them as with regular customs.

Fun Questions

1. What do Julie’s symbols on her leg mean?
   Okay, everyone asks this on the thread. jiki, which is written in symbols on her leg, means Seasons. It’s Japanese.
   
2. Why is Fey larger than other cats?
   If you look at her face, you can see piercing markings on Fey. She has earrings and other attire, and they are rather small. Fey’s creator made her larger so that these markings were easier to see, that way you didn't have your eyes pressed to the screen.
   
3. Why does someone else have Cervas’ custom?
   Cervas sometimes gives Houki to others to take care of - Cervas is still the owner.
   
4. Who is Taylor and her gorgeous custom Renna?
   Taylor is a friend of Tess. She made her Renna as a gift. Taylor is not a registered member on CS, and so Renna has Taylor’s name written on her. She is best known fro her rainbow coloring. Don't think you can pretend to be Taylor and claim Renna. She will not be placed into an account!
   
5. Is Mae part Anglerfish?
   Bouquetblu said that Mae is partially based on an anglerfish. How do we know? The little light hanging from her head!
   
6. Le’Eyre changes forms?
   Yes, Mausoleum’s custom Le’Eyre changes her forms due to seasons. For the winter, she is a butterfly wolf, and for the rest of the year, she is a PPS pup. Pretty cool, right?
   
7. I keep seeing these little moose items, what are they and who made them?
   They are custom items made by staff c:
   
8. Why aren’t Tess’s customs up?
   She didn't’t want them added up on the list.
   
9. Where did Cherry's items come from?
   Because she is magical, Cherry grew them.
   
10. What is different about the coloring on Tyr's custom?
    Tyr's Tyr is different because Tyr did the coloring herself. Shading and coloring.
    
11. Where is Haruka?
    Haruka has been replaced by Niokki's Niokki. She is no longer a custom.
