But seriously - I'm very impressed by how much of the original lineart is preserved. It's really creative and I don't think I ever would've thought to rotate the legs like that. :)

As much as I would like to see TheCalicoTabby's dog lineart become a regular thing, I think it should stay a one-of-a-kind. A staff pet loses its uniqueness when the line-edits are used for other pets. For example, Tyr's staff pet from 2012:

It was and still is an awesome staff pet, but it lost its uniqueness when the Slumber Party came around...


So I honestly think this staff pet should stay the way it is; unique. c:

Now this one is going to be tough to hoard! The pose is just.. <333333333 So simple yet so different! Makes me hopeful that other pets in the future will have creative reposes such as this! Brilliant Callico! Brilliant!

Now if I could only manage to get a staff seat and edit a sitting pose to a standing pose.. *ponders pandemonium while chuckling evily*

There is something about the pose that seems weird to me, it's like he isn't settled in yet or is going to stand up any moment - some kind of tension that is bothering me.
But I must agree with most that it's nice to see a different pose, I wasn't expecting that

No no no no, not an UR D=
Just a special pet or two, like a christmas/v-day/halloween dog, something like that. No it shouldn't be a common lineart edit, but once or twice wouldn't hurt. It has happened before other than that gryphon dog.
