It's hard to decide, since the rarities are unknown, but I would suggest if you did trade with unknown rarities to trade with only pets from the same month or wait until the rarities are revealed before you lose a potentially valuable pet.

Actually it's unfair to the quantity side, the white Lolita is worth ~6 mixed '09 rares and they're offering almost 13.
