Eye think you have the right post, but not the right meaning of it!

Could your pup's toes be a different color from the rest of its body?

Clue 2: I thought of Harry Potter. Could you be referring to the Dementors who appear in that chapter, or to Sirius Black?

Y'know ...in the movie(maybe the book too) in said chapter, Sirius does show up as his animagus form. Which is a large black dog, also known as a Grim.

A grim resembles many other tales about said dogs from folklore. The pallet does have a very dark color in it...food for thought.

It sounds like my pup was sleeping under a blanket, I guess they've finally emerged. Wonder though when they'll figure out where the party is.

The most likely possibilities are the following two, because they fit the pattern of Nadine’s dogs having blue eyes, a light colored chest and pointed ears at the puppy stage

All the groundhog mentions are making me think of the movie Groundhog Day and time loops
